British Airways holidays have some very generous deals available on their website, albeit some requiring you to fly in the next few weeks. You can see more details here. Booking a British Airways holiday is a good earner for Avios versus buying hotel and flight separately as not only do you get your normal avios from the flight you will also receive 2 Avios per £1 for your total spend.

toronto skylinePrices are from £1919 for 3 nights in the 4* Sheraton . Toronto is good place for a weekend break although perhaps

not as vibrant as New York. It has a great restaurant scene with innovative Canadian focussed cuisine and is a great destination for a foodie. If you don’t fancy a city break how about going to the beautiful Niagara on the lake instead? This is in the heart of Niagara wine-producing area which you may associate only with ice wine. Although we rarely see them in the UK they are producing some very high quality wines and I was really impressed when I was there in August. They produce everything from Pinot Gris to Merlot and sparking wine as well as amazing ice wines. Niagara on the lake is about 15-20 minutes drive from the falls and about 1 hour 15 minutes from Toronto airport.niagara vineyard
