Currently, there do not seem to be many business class offers apart from Finnair which I wrote about here.

  1. you always do great work (and lots of it!!)… not such great deals this year… im sure better sales wont be far away… but thank you..

  2. Just wanted to share briefly my experience of return Virgin Upper Class to Miami. Food on board has really deteriorated…no more burgers on demand…run out of food options…you can’t even get a bread roll on board! Crew I spoke to were embarrassed at the cuts to service and said I should be contacting Virgin to let them know!

I’m hoping somebody from Virgin reads this and it has more impact. Both cabins were full outbound and inbound and this really isn’t the place to be making cuts! Lack-lustre service out, unimpressive. Food ran out and I can’t eat anything spicy – I was literally offered a cheese roll from economy as there no other options!

Thankfully made up for on the inbound with a great crew full of the usual Virgin flair! If you want the express meal to maximise sleep then have low expectations – it’s literally a burnt cheese toastie with a single slice of processed cheese it! Is this really Upper Class?

Summary – inconsistent service; cuts in on board food and beverage product (not even a bread roll) to such an extent I will not be paying to fly Virgin UC again but only using my points. I could not recommend anybody paying for this product in its current format from my experience. Virgin – you need to up your game!

    • Thanks for sharing your experience. I’m flying Virgin next week so it will be interesting to see what my flight is like. When I flew them last year I was pretty impressed with what they were serving in Upper.
