More super cheap UK business class fares including Las Vegas
Virgin started a trend with their £999 and now both oneworld/BA and Star Alliance are matching the fares on competing routes. The disadvantage is that you have to fly via somewhere unless you travel on United. There is a big choice of airlines such as TAP, Air Canada, Lufthansa, Swiss, and United. The other issue with changing flights is that if you change in a non-travel corridor country then you have to quarantine on the way home. Obviously, if you are booking some time ahead, this is likely to change. Putting that aside I would choose United, Air Canada, or TAP anyway. Beware TAP are currently using their A321LRs which do not have quite as nice a business class as the A330 neos.
United’s B787s have the new Polaris seats and these are operating from Heathrow to Los Angeles and San Francisco.
If you already have status due to an extension this could be a good chance to try another airlines.
The fares are:
- New York £905
- Boston £970
- Miami £981
- Orlando £981
- Washington £970
- Seattle £985
- Las Vegas £985
- Los Angeles £985
- San Francisco £898
Virgin Holidays offer 10% off discount code
Virgin Atlantic Holidays is offering an additional 10% using the code BF2020 on both Virgin Atlantic Holidays and Flight + Hotel bookings. The 10% saving applies to new holidays where the price includes flight and accommodation, booked in store, by telephone or online until 23.59 Monday 30th November 2020, for travel up to and including 31st December 2021. Saving applies to the total cost of the holiday, excluding taxes, APD, surcharges and other compulsory charges which may apply at the time of booking.
It’s probably worth looking at the £999 deals first in Upper Class if they fit your dates as they probably work out cheaper to book separately. However, the travel period is much longer for this offer.
Qatar 10% off UK flights
So far the Qatar sale has been very underwhelming. They are now offering an extra 10% off with promo code ‘BLACKFRIDAY’ on certain routes. From London, the routes are only Adelaide, Cape Town, Tehran, Islamabad, Johannesburg, and Sydney in business class. There is more choice from other UK departure points such as Manchester which has a lot of holidays routes such as the Maldives, Zanzibar and Thailand.
You must book by 2 December 2020 and complete travel by 30 September 2021.
