Although BA do not seem to have any flights in their Black Friday sale yet, they have launched a generous discount code with the Daily Mail.

The code gives you 20% off all flights except first class.

Although the terms and conditions say it can’t be used with any other vouchers, it means discount codes, not paying with an e voucher which should work fine.

Once you have selected your flights you need to click on “Apply voucher” on the review your flights page. Then click on “Promotional code” and enter BAspecial.

It says that the offer can be used on British Airways marketed and operated flights which means you can only use them on actual British Airways flights, not code shares and they must be on a BA ticket. BA Cityflyer flights are included.

The offer is valid for flights booked by midnight on 27 November 2020. You can travel up to 16 November 2021 but you that is the date that you must complete travel.

You can’t use it for Avios part payment or anything else that is not a straight cash flight booking such as rewards flights or holidays.

You can find the special British Airways page here.

  1. Prices went up 20% overnight

    • By more than that on long haul. This often happens just before a sale and I would assume that there will be a flight sale as well but I don’t know for definite. However, short-haul Club Europe prices are definitely still a reasonable price with the discount. I can see a lot that will be well under £200 with the discount.

  2. This seems to be the same as BA’s own ‘BFoffer’ 20% promotion.
