As COVID-19 shows no signs of disappearing, many airports and cities across the globe have introduced pre-testing for the virus as a means of opening up travel safely. The introduction of rapid testing, with some results coming back within 12 minutes, has inspired many airports have set up their own, on-site testing clinics, allowing hopeful travellers a quick and easy way to confirm their results before jetting off.

Here is a run down of which airports offer on-site testing, how much it costs, how quickly you get your results and what kinds of tests are available. You need to make sure you understand what type of test your destination requires as many won’t accept rapid tests and others want a certain type of PCR test such as an in-clinic one.

If you want to check out COVID-19 testing clinics closer to home, check out our recent article covering a bunch of reader-tested clinics across the UK.
