Last week I looked at the best deals for the US and Mexico and today I will look at the rest of the world for long haul flights. It’s a personal decision whether to book travel or not, even far in the future. Considerations such as travel insurance and the uncertain nature of how long the crisis will last need to be taken into account. Most airlines are giving an opportunity to book now and still be able to change your travel at a later date which helps a lot.
I will mention basic tier points in this article, but tomorrow I will look at tier point runs. My advice would be not to rush into tier point runs and it is still not known whether BA will change its current policy of reducing the tier points criteria for current renewals by 30% to something more universal. But if you want to go somewhere anywhere there is no harm in adding in a few stops in case you need the points!
