Qatar Airways is inviting travellers to experience an adventure ‘like never before’ with a selection of offers on flights and services. You can get discounts on bookings made between Monday 9 September and Sunday 15 September 2019.
There are savings on individual fares of up to 15%, special rates for companion fares when booking two or more tickets, as well as a range of other offers with Al Maha Services, Discover Qatar, Qatar Airways Holidays and Qatar Duty Free (QDF).
Qatar Airways Privilege Club members can also earn double Qmiles on all bookings during the promotional period.
Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Simon Talling-Smith, said: “We are thrilled to give customers the chance to explore the world ‘like never before’ with our great offers across the extensive Qatar Airways network.
“In addition to exclusive savings on fares, our Privilege Club members are also able to take advantage of double Qmiles on all bookings within the promotional period, meaning our customers can benefit from fantastic savings across the Qatar Airways Group, including Al Maha Services, Discover Qatar, Qatar Airways Holidays and QDF.
Qatar Airways have one of the best business products in the sky with their QSuite business class suites and consistent cabin crew. They do have a range of seats, however, and there are still some of the old B777 seats which come in a 2-2-2 layout. You can read reviews of all Qatar’s business class seats here.
One good thing about Qatar is that they fly to destinations via Doha rather than direct. This means that it is almost possible to get enough tier points in one trip to make BA Silver status which gives lounge access, even in economy. You would get 560 tier points for most return trips and you only need 600 to make BA silver (plus 4 qualifying flights).
As usual, the deals from the UK are pretty poor value, so I will concentrate on starting from elsewhere in Europe with the cheapest starting points below. Sofia may seem like a strange starting point but in fact, there is a direct BA flight daily and it would get you 160 Tier points if you went in Club to position. Belgrade has some cheap prices but is not easy to get to. If you are new to ex EU flights you can read my guide here.
There are a couple of discount codes you may like to try too, but often they don’t work on the cheapest fare buckets. There is a 5% off mobile UPTO5OFF and another 10% off FDO19 for website bookings.
