Those fares are valid to the end of the month but there is now also a very cheap deal to Orlando or Tampa from Dublin as well. A similar deal is also available with Delta or United.

Free upgrade at Doha’s airport transit hotel, Oryx

Oryx hotel

If you have a longe layover at Doha, you may be tempted to stay at the Oryx, the transit hotel. It is very convenient but cheap it is not. One thing that may sweeten the deal is the current offer from Qatar Airways to get a free upgrade when you book your stay by 20 January 2020 for travel until 10 December 2020. There are a few provisos to be aware of though. The booking is non-refundable and the upgrade is subject to availability which is not great as the hotel is usually pretty full. Yopu must be on a connection with an onward flight from Doha to use the lounge as it is airside.

If you want other ideas of how to kill the time have a look at this article.

You can find the special offer page on Qatar Airways here.
