Singapore Airlines has had a sale going for a while including business class. To be honest most of the prices are not exactly a bargain, especially when you compare with the Qatar deals recently. However Singapore Airlines are very highly regarded and there are a couple of fares that are good value.

The quoted fares are available through Trailfinders. If you can find the deal you want on Singapore Airlines then there is currently 5-6% cashback from Top Cashback until 29 January 2017.

Singapore are part of Star Alliance so any miles collected should be of use at some point in the future.

Is it a good deal?

The Grange hotels are in the City area so not best placed for shopping but reasonably placed for sightseeing. It is easy enough, however, to get around on the Tube from the hotel locations. These hotels are usually pretty cheap at weekends as they are aimed primarily at business customers. They can usually be bought for around £120-140 at a weekend. With the inclusion of the show tickets, bubbly, breakfast and an upgrade to an executive room, which normally retails at around £160, it makes it worthwhile. I estimate the total value per person to be worth around £180.

Both hotels have good leisure facilities with 25m indoor pools, jacuzzi and spas. The Grange City is rated 4/5 and the Tower Bridge is 4.5/5 on Trip Advisor.

Pool at Jumeirah Carlton Tower

Jumeirah Carlton Tower

Jumeirah Carlton Tower is a renowned five star hotel in London. It is a few minutes walk from Harrods and is situated on Sloane Street, close to Knightsbridge tube as well. I have stayed at this hotel many times and would definitely recommend it. It is not quite in the same league as the Corinthia for example, but the rooms are luxurious and recently refurbished. The hotel also has a light and airy stainless steel swimming pool and Jacuzzi as well as a spa.

Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel

Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel is much smaller and just round the corner from the Carlton Tower. I have stayed here once but would not really recommend it. The building is rather strange and looks like it was converted from apartments. It did not have the same luxurious feel as the Carlton which explains why it is normally cheaper. There is no pool or spa but you are allowed to use the Carlton Tower ones.

Thank you for finding this amazing offer. We love the Jumeirah and would always try for this chain of hotel in Dubai. Never stayed in the London hotel, so now would be a good time to enjoy the luxuary!

  If you do go let me know what it is like. I haven’t been for a little while so hopefully it should be even better now they have redone all the rooms.
