Aer Lingus business sale
A new summer flash sale on a selection of direct transatlantic routes from Manchester starts at midnight 15 August, offering discounts on flights across the US.
Customers will be able to get £100 off Economy and Business Class flights from Manchester to New York, and Orlando, when booked as a return journey.
Aer Lingus customers can make the most of these special fares when booking between the 16 and 21 August, for travel between 1 September and 31 October 2022.
Aer Lingus use their A321LR aircraft on the New York route with new seats, and being smaller it gives a more intimate feel to it. The rows alternate between 2-2 and then 1-1 with the throne seats. I plan to try Aer Lingus later this year, as I think they have recently improved a lot.

Swiss or Lufthansa First class from £1998

This is a great deal although you do have to start your trip in Budapest. However, Budapest is a beautiful city so you could easily make it a two centre holiday and build in some time to explore after your posiotioning flight which also derisks the trip for any delays or cancellations.
The deal is available on Swiss or Lufthansa first from January to July 2023. Stopovers are not allowed and the minium stay is 6 days. In terms of choosing between Swiss or Lufthansa, both have great First class services. I think the Lufthansa private terminal in Frankfurt and the service there where they drive you to the aircraft is probably the deciding factor for me.
