Qatar announces Dublin launch details
I wrote about the new Qatar service from Dublin last week in this article.
They have now announced the details and there is good news about the aircraft type. Qatar will be flying a B787 Dreamliner from Dublin which has the latest reverse herringbone seats. Business Class is configured in a 1–2–1 layout with 22 fully flat seats, all with direct aisle access. Onboard Wi-fi is also available. Later this month I will be publishing a review of my flight on the B787 and comparing it to the BA and Virgin B787s.
The schedule will be as follows:
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday (From 12 Jun 2017)
Doha (DOH) to Dublin (DUB) QR19 departs: 01:25 arrives: 07:25
Dublin (DUB) to Doha (DOH) to QR20 departs: 08:50 arrives: 18:05
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday (From 13 Jun 2017)
Doha (DOH) to Dublin (DUB) QR17 departs: 07:20 arrives: 13:20
Dublin (DUB) to Doha (DOH) QR18 departs: 15:25 arrives 00:40+1
Fares are currently pretty high at around €2500 to the Far East but I would expect there to be some offers in the near future. Sign up to my email subscription at the top right of this page to get the latest news on Qatar sales.
