Sandals Extra £100 Off Per Booking
Sandals have released a Flash Sale and included an offer until 5th November of an extra £100 off. There is no time limit on bookings and they have offerings up to December 2026.
Personally, I wouldn’t jump too soon into booking anything as Black Friday is only around the corner and Sandals usually have something to offer. Obviously, if you need to book now then take advantage of the offer.
There is a minimum stay of 7 nights and is based on all-inclusive offerings.

Hilton’s Most Anticipated Openings for 2025
Hilton has unveiled a selection of what they deem their most eagerly anticipated hotels opening in 2025. We’ve listed below a few that we think look interesting and will be hankering to review!
Palacio Bellas Artes Hotel San Sebastián, Curio Collection by Hilton – San Sebastián, Spain
Myself and Eugene have been keen to visit San Sebastián for a while (for the food obviously). This will be Hilton’s first hotel in San Sebastián. We have been impressed by some Curio Collection Hotels recently, so would be excited to try this one that will feature 81 stylish guest rooms, a meeting space, a gym, and a restaurant with a bar. It will be based in the redevelopment of the historic Fine Arts Theatre, one of the city’s most iconic buildings.
Anticipated Opening: Q4 2025
Conrad Athens The Ilisian – Athens, Greece
We were recently looking for a hotel with a pool in Athens, we couldn’t quite find what we wanted and ended up heading to Corfu instead. This new Conrad is replacing the former Hilton Athens looks like a great contender for future stays. Conrad Athens will feature 280 guest rooms and suites each with expansive views of historic Athens, as well as a 400 sq.m. luxurious mega rooftop suite. Additionally, 18 hotel residences have been developed as Conrad Residences, as well as 37 private residences as Waldorf Astoria Residences, on the upper floors of the building. It will have semi-Olympic outdoor pool and a 700m long outdoor running track on the mezzanine rooftop.

Canopy by Hilton Istanbul Taksim – Istanbul, Türkiye
Istanbul is a favourite city of ours. The last time we were there was 18 months ago, but would definitely like to explore again soon. This new Hilton hotel will be located very close to Istaklal, the most popular shopping street in Istanbul, but also provides easy access to the many beautiful historic sites throughout the city. The hotel will feature 110 uniquely designed rooms, three dining outlets, a destination bar, and a central social hub known as ‘Canopy Central’.

Canopy by Hilton Cape Town Longkloof – Cape Town, South Africa
Cape Town is Eugene and mine’s favourite place we have been to so far and it’s always going to be hard to beat. This new Canopy by Hilton Hotel isn’t located right by the Ocean which is where we would always rather be, but it should have some very impressive views of the other side of Table Moutain. It is also very close to Kloof Street which is home to some excellent restaurants. Getting around Cape Town is very easy too, with Ubers being accessible and cheap. The hotel is part of a heritage-led project to revitalise the Longkloof precinct and will have 154 guestrooms and suites.

Waldorf Astoria New York – New York, USA
The Waldorf Astoria New York, a longstanding New York City landmark, has undergone a careful restoration by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, with interiors by Pierre-Yves Rochon. The 375-room hotel retains its original Art Deco architecture, updated with modern furnishings that respect its history. It will offer some of the largest rooms and suites in Manhattan, designed to reflect the spirit of the city. I’m looking forward to seeing more pictures of this hotel as it could be truly stunning. I’ve not been to New York for a couple of years however Eugene was there 18 months ago. We are keen to go again soon so when this opens we will try and review it.
Anticipated Reopening: Spring 2025
Waldorf Astoria Osaka – Osaka, Japan
Following the Waldorf Astoria theme, this beautiful hotel is set to open in Osaka, another bucket list destination of ours. It will be a big hotel spanning 12 stories of a 39-story high rise with 252 guest rooms. It will have three distinctive restaurants including Peacock Alley, the iconic lounge and bar synonymous with the Waldorf Astoria brand. Guests will have access to leisure facilities including an indoor pool, wellness centre and fitness centre. The hotel will even offer a dedicated chapel perfect for wedding ceremonies, while business and leisure events can be held at the hotel’s extensive banquet and meeting facilities. I’ve only stayed in one Waldorf Astoria in Dubai, but from my experience, it is an excellent brand that exudes luxury so I will have this on my list to consider when I finally get to Japan.
