citizenM Hotels Are Now Part of Marriott Bonvoy

Since Marriott acquired citizenM, we’ve been anticipating the date citizenM hotels would be available via Marriott Bonvoy. The integration is now complete.
citizenM becomes Marriott’s 37th brand and, as predicted, joins Marriott’s Select portfolio alongside Moxy, AC by Marriott, Courtyard, Four Points, and more. You will earn 10 Bonvoy Points per $1 spent + 1 Elite Credit per night.
Award availability for most citizenM hotels is now live and shows between 40,000 and 67,000 points per night, which is in line with other similar brands. Given that citizenM often has higher cash rates in cities like London, redemptions could work out as good value. There are hotels in great locations, such as citizenM Tower of London and Victoria Station, Paris Champs Élysées and Copenhagen Rådhuspladsen.
mycitizenM+ will continue to operate. You can now link your membership to your Marriott account and receive a range of benefits, including Marriott Gold status benefits (citizenM hotels only). Account linking is currently by email invitation.
To celebrate, you can now get 15% off stays of at least two nights until 15th February 2026. If you’ve been curious about trying the brand, now is a great time!

Virgin Atlantic Adds More Flights to Bengaluru for Early 2026

Virgin has announced it will increase the Heathrow-Bengaluru service from 7 to 11 flights per week from January to March 2026.
India is becoming one of Virgin’s fastest-growing long-haul markets, and since the route launched in March 2024, demand has been high enough to justify additional flights alongside the twice-daily services already operating to Delhi and Mumbai.
Flight times will be as follows:
| Route | Flight | Days | 2026 Dates | Times |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Heathrow to Bengaluru | VS346 | Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday | 5th January to 28th March | 14:00-05:15 (+1) |
| Bengaluru to Heathrow | VS347 | Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday | 6th January to 27th March | 07:05-12:50 |
| Bengaluru to Heathrow | VS347 | Sunday | 11th January to 22nd March | 07:20-13:05 |
All flights will continue to operate on a Boeing 787-9 with 31 Upper Class seats, 35 Premium seats, and 192 Economy seats, plus the Upper Class social space.
Once in India, you can enjoy easy onward connections to 33 destinations, including Goa, Jaipur, and Amritsar, via Virgin’s IndiGo partnership.
This increase in flights will certainly mean more reward seat availability. If you’re planning to book, now is a great time, while fewer people know about the frequency increases. One way, Premium seats start at 10,400 Virgin Points + £349 in tax (or £961 cash), and Upper Class at 68,000 + £561 in tax (or £1,884 cash).
