Double Skywards Miles on Emirates Flights Booked This Week

Emirates Skywards has launched a rare Boxing Day promotion offering double Skywards Miles on Emirates flights booked this week by UK-based members. If you’ve been thinking about booking an Emirates flight for early 2026, this is one of the most generous incentives we’ve seen from the airline in years.
For a very limited time, Emirates is offering 100% bonus Skywards Miles on eligible flights. Unlike many airline promotions, this one is refreshingly broad and easy to use, with very few restrictions.
Key details
-
Booking window: 26 December – 31 December 2025
-
Travel window: 1 January – 31 March 2026
-
Eligibility: UK-based Emirates Skywards members
-
Cabins: All cabin classes
-
Fare types: All fare types
-
Destinations: All Emirates destinations
You must be an Emirates Skywards member at the time of booking. If you join after booking, you won’t receive the bonus miles, so make sure your membership number is added before you pay.
The promotion applies to Emirates flights departing from all UK airports served by the airline, including Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London Gatwick, London Heathrow, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle. That makes this a genuinely nationwide offer rather than one limited to London.
This is particularly attractive because Emirates very rarely runs double miles promotions, especially ones with no cabin, fare, or destination exclusions. If you’re booking long-haul Business or First Class, the mileage return can be significant. Even Economy bookings will earn meaningfully more miles than usual, helping you get closer to a future reward flight or upgrade.
See our full guide to Emirates Skywards here.
For those interested in elite status, the extra miles will boost your Skywards balance quickly, although bonus miles usually do not count towards Tier status and we will need to see the full terms to confirm this. At the time of writing, the full terms and conditions have not yet been published, so it is also unclear whether codeshare flights (such as EK-coded services operated by Qantas) will qualify, or whether separate registration is required in addition to booking.
If you were already planning to book an Emirates flight for travel between January and March 2026, this promotion is well worth acting on. The booking window is short, but the simplicity and generosity of the offer make it stand out from the usual Boxing Day airline sales.
Marriott’s New Autograph Collection Hotel in Camps Bay, Cape Town

We’ve said it many times before, we love Cape Town. Few cities offer this mix of beaches, mountains, food, wine and atmosphere, so it’s great to see Marriott continuing to invest here with two notable hotel openings in two excellent but very different areas.
The latest is Morea House, Autograph Collection, which has just opened in Camps Bay. The new 90-room boutique hotel joins the Autograph Collection Hotels portfolio and sits right along one of Cape Town’s most iconic stretches of coastline, with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Twelve Apostles mountains on the other.

Morea House is positioned as a relaxed, design-led retreat. Interiors use natural materials and local design influences, with rooms facing the ocean, mountains or beach. Dining includes modern Lebanese-inspired cuisine, a poolside restaurant with sweeping sea views, and quieter spaces for wine tastings and afternoon tea. Wellness is also a key focus, with yoga, spa treatments, guided hikes and even cold-water Atlantic dips on offer.

What makes this particularly interesting is that it follows confirmation that The Cape Town EDITION will open at the V&A Waterfront in 2026, covered here, and the two openings together give travellers a genuine choice between laid-back beach living in Camps Bay or the buzz and convenience of the Waterfront.
While hotels in Cape Town can sometimes feel expensive, pretty much everything else is fantastic value once you’re there, great restaurants, bars, wine farms, taxis and tours all cost far less than you’d expect for the quality. That mix of world-class experiences and reasonable day-to-day prices is a big part of why we keep going back, and why it’s always good to see more hotel choice in such great locations.
