London – Atlanta
While Atlanta is not really on the tourist map, it’s a big hub for connections. Getting a reward flights for the exact US destination can be tricky so, using a hub and buying a separate onward connection can be the answer. However, I’d always advise allowing lots of time in case something goes wrong. An overnight stay can help to break the journey up as well.
There is excellent reward seat availability in Business Class and First throughout January. From mid-January many dates have up to 6 Business Class and 6 First class seats.
London – Boston
There’s very strong reward seat availability in Business Class and First from the end of January – many dates have up to 6 Business Class and 6 First class seats. Boston is one of my favourite US cities and can be a great starting point for exploring places like New England, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.
London – New York
London – San Jose (California)
If you have been after San Francisco tickets, San Jose is a great alternative being only 45 minutes south of San Francisco’s airport. It is also perfect for those planning to visit Monterey and Carmel, being closer than SFO airport. There is really strong reward seat availability in Business Class from January. Dates with a few First Class seats start to pop up in February and March 2023. There are even still a few dates with two or more seats available in the summer holidays.
