BLACK FRIDAY 2025: Amazon’s best buys for travellers

  • 25/11/2025
  • Michele

If you want to stock up on Amazon travel products or buy some gifts for someone who loves travel, this is the week to do it with special reductions for Black Friday until Monday 1 December.

It can be hard to know where to start with Amazon, so here are some suggestions for reductions on some of my favourite travel accessories.

Apple Airtag

If you want to buy some more or haven’t yet got round to buying some, I find them invaluable for travelling. With Apple announcing that you will be able to share your luggage’s location with airlines and the largest baggage tracing service in the world, you definitely need to buy some now.

You can use them for everything from handbags to checked luggage or even keys. They allow you to track the item via your phone or iPad and you can play a sound to find it as well. I found it useful when my luggage has been mislaid or to know whether it made the flight or not. Or as previously, find out I am standing at the wrong baggage carousel!

They are normally £28 each but Amazon has a pack of 4 for £74, a saving of 38% which you can find here.

If you are prone to losing things or leaving them behind, it is worth considering a couple of accessories to go with the AirTags.

Air tag passport holders

This passport holder will mean that you will always know it’s with you, as you can set alerts for AirTags if you walk away from the item. The holder also has plenty of additional features such as RFID-blocking technology, 4 card slots, 2 SIM card slots with an ejector pin holder, a passport pocket, a boarding pass slot, and a pen holder. It also has a built-in plastic lock on the back. It’s currently 15% off at £21.24.

If you want something a bit cheaper and more compact, this one is only £9.26 and comes in multiple colours.

I also have one for my keys which gives an added security measure if someone steals your bag and then dumps it, you may have a chance to recover it.

I also use these to attach the air tag to my suitcase or bag. There’s a bargain set of the AirTag holders for just £6.38 for 5.

Kindles and phone accessories

Up until a few years ago, I was adamant that I wanted a real book to read, but with traveling so much, I have become a Kindle convert. It means that I never run out of reading material, and it takes up much less space in my bag, plus they are waterproof too. It is also so much easier than trying to view a phone or tablet screen in bright sunlight. The new model has a glare-free display, faster page turns, adjustable front light, long battery life, and most importantly, no ads.

The latest model without ads is on sale for just £79.99, £9 cheaper than last Black Friday.

If you like to use your phone to watch entertainment on the plane, you can often run out of room on the tray table or find it uncomfortable looking down at the phone. This simple device makes it easy to position your phone in a variety of ways. It also folds up to a very small item for packing in your hand luggage.

I bought one and find it very easy to use. It is priced at only £8.48 which is 26% off.

Luggage

Low cost airline under-seat bag

Since my recent Spanish apartment purchase, I have been flying EasyJet, who only give you a small underseat bag for free. So I bought a smaller version of one of my favourite travel bags that fits the free bag dimensions and comfortably fits under a seat.

It is very versatile as you can either carry it as a rucksack or wheel it. It has two zip-up sections and is surprisingly roomy inside. I could definitely manage a couple of nights away with just this. It converts from a rucksack to a wheeled bag in seconds and also has multiple pockets inside each compartment to keep everything organised.

It’s not on a deal for Black Friday, but since I’m really pleased with it and it’s super cheap at £18.99, I thought it was worth including. It also comes in grey.

Other hand luggage options

I also have two other hand luggage cases, depending on the type of trip.

First is this Level 8 carry-on case, which I love for its smart appearance, front pocket, and silent 4 wheels with yellow accents, so you can spot it easily. Inside, it has two separate packing compartments and lots of inside zipped pockets to keep things organized.

It currently has 20% off the full price of £179.99 at checkout bringing it down to £143.99.

I also have the larger version of the underseat backpack above that you can either carry or wheel, which is perfect for bus gates and when there are stairs. It holds a huge amount, and all the different pockets keep everything well organised. If you don’t need an underseat version, I’d go for this as the outside pockets are handy to keep things in reach, and it holds a lot more.

There are two sizes, and the larger one 18″  (which I have) is not on offer at£66.99, but the 17″ version has 23% off at £49.99.

Samsonite Lite-Shock – Hold luggage Spinner Suitcase

This is the suitcase I have, and I’m on my second one as I loved the first one so much. The first one was still going strong after 7 years, but I decided to get a new one as it was getting grubby, and my overpacking had broken the interior zip. Prior to having this case, I was going through a new case every 6-9 months as they were constantly being damaged by airlines. My latest version has been going for 2 years and still looks as good as new.

I love these cases as they are amazingly lightweight – the Large version that I have weighs just 2.5kg. The other bonus is that they are expandable but not in a way that involves extra zips. I don’t understand how it works, but somehow, it always seems to accommodate all my extra holiday purchases even when it looks like there is no way it would close.

Amazon has the large bag at £263.39, which is 15% off.  This includes the gorgeous turquoise colour shown above, which should make your bag stand out on the carousel! The sand colour is even cheaper at £216.9,1 which is a real bargain.

You can find the options on this page on Amazon.

It would not be a travel accessory round up without including some packing cubes which as well as reducing the volume of your clothes, also help to organise them. If you are on a trip with multiple stops they are invaluable as you can just put the cube straight into the drawers rather than fully unpacking.

I like to have a set of four large bags the same size so they fit evenly in the case. These Amazon own-brand ones come in several colours and are only £13.64 for four of them.

Travel toiletry storage and gadgets

I never take full size toiletries with me as you are just lugging heavy bottles when you only need a small amount. I find that 100ml is more than enough for 2 full weeks for things like shampoo and conditioner.

Cult brand Kitsch has this great travel set reduced by 16% to just £8.39. The reason I like it is because of the flat packaging for larger toiletries which takes up less room and wastes less space in your luggage. This set includes one 30-ml spray bottle, two 30-ml pump bottles, two 0.35-oz mini jars, three 90-ml flat pouch bottles, one mini funnel, one mini spatula and one mini pipette stored inside a reusable travel pouch. You can find it here.

I also use a hanging toiletry bag so you don’t need to take everything out but can just hang it up in the bathroom. These are really handy for road trips and cruises as you can find everything easily without unpacking. The one I have is reduced by 13% to £19.99 and you can find it in several colours here.

If you like to take your electric toothbrush with you, this travel case will keep it clean and organised. It is priced at a bargain £7.59.

If you find an electric toothbrush a bit bulky for travel or want something to live in your washbag so you don’t forget it, I really like this sonic brush, which is battery-driven and comes in a range of colours. It’s very compact and has a case to protect the brush. It’s £9.49 with 32% off.

Charging

A multi-country USB adaptor is essential for me when I travel. I have two types: a cheaper, lower-powered one for everyday appliances, and then a higher-capacity one for my laptop.

For a basic one that covers USB A and C with two of each, this Bigfish one has 35% off bringing it down to £12.99 which is a bargain.

If you want something higher-powered for a laptop or fast charging, I have just traded up to this 65W one for the extra USB-C ports, as I’m finding that only having one on my current one is beginning to be limiting. It has two USB C and one A socket. You simply swap the actual plug head over, and you can obviously just take the ones that you need. It comes with UK, Europe, and US adaptors.

It is currently reduced by 29%  to £29.98. You can find it here.

I also swear by these lightweight phone chargers, which mean that you don’t need to have a cable handy, and you can carry on using your phone while it charges. I find them incredibly quick. There are quite a few makes, but I find the original iWalk the best. They make a standard lightning or USB C version.

They come in different colours, I’d advise not getting black as they are easy to lose in the bottom of a bag.

The lighting version starts at £19.99 for the higher powered version.

There similar USB C charger for Samsungs etc and newer Gen iPhones is down to £18.99 after 27% off.

Eye masks and earphones/headphones

If you like to listen to something while you are sleeping or block out noise, it can be cumbersome to have both earbuds and a sleep mask, and, earbuds can be uncomfortable if you sleep on your side. There is now a new breed of eyemasks that combine earphones with a full sleep mask.

I bought one of this brand during Prime Day and I am finding it a godsend when travelling. I am a fan of the Calm app and their sleep stories and music. If you already have Spotify, they also have plenty of Sleep music playlists. With the eye mask, I can comfortably lie on my side and block out light completely as well as be able to listen to whatever I like to drown out any cabin (or hotel) noise. It would make a great gift for a traveller or someone who has trouble sleeping and perhaps want to listen to something and not disturb their partner.

You can also remove the earphone parts if you want to occasionally use it as an eye mask only or wash the mask. It comes in a variety of styles and colours. I prefer this style, which is also the softest one, the bamboo version, which is on sale for £21.69 with 38% off.

If you are after noise-cancelling headphones, I recently replaced my very old Bose Quiet Comfort headphones with a new pair. If you don’t care about having a hard case, you can get a bargain with a pair for just £188 (35% off) in the sale. I find the soft case takes up less room than the hard case, so it’s a yes from me.

Another frequent flyer favourite with a good discount is these Sony WH-1000XM4 noise-cancelling wireless headphones. They have 30 hours of battery life and are optimized for Alexa and Google Assistant—with a built-in mic for phone calls. They are 11% off for all three colors and now cost £178.

My partner swears by his Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 3 earphones for sound quality and noise reduction. They also come in a rather smart silver colour as well as white. There is currently 37% off, bringing the price to £139. Having recently tested them against a set of Apple earbuds, these were much more comfortable and less likely to fall out. You can find them here.
