These Aer Lingus deals are definitely worth a look! If you’re happy to depart from Dublin or Budapest, some excellent business class fares to New York are available for travel from July 2025 to May 2026. IHG to Open Dual-Branded Voco and Hotel Indigo & Suites Near London Waterloo

IHG has announced plans to open a new dual-branded hotel in late 2028, in partnership with Palm Holdings. The site will house two IHG properties: Hotel Indigo and Suites (IHG Luxury and Lifestyle Collection), and Voco London Waterloo (IHG Premium Collection).
The 172-room Hotel Indigo and Suites Hotel is the European debut of IHG’s new sub-brand, which keeps the boutique feel and neighbourhood ethos of Hotel Indigo with the added comfort of suites.

There will also be a 182-room Voco Hotel London Waterloo. Voco focuses on informality and relaxed luxury.

Both hotels will share facilities, including restaurants, bars, cafés, a fitness centre, and a business hub.
The existing building will be fully refurbished. Sustainability is a major focus, and the project aims for BREEAM Excellent certification. The site will have air-source heat pumps and solar panels, ensuring no fossil fuels are used on-site.
The location is excellent for both leisure and business stays. You’ll be just a short walk from Southbank’s highlights, such as the National Theatre, Royal Festival Hall, and the London Eye. For business stays, you’ll enjoy a prime location in London Waterloo with easy access to Waterloo Station.
The project will add over 350 rooms to IHG’s growing UK and Ireland portfolio, which as of March 2025 includes 363 open hotels and 33 more in the pipeline.
Ricky Kapoor, Managing Director of Palm Holdings, said:
“The voco and Hotel Indigo brands are renowned for their individuality and guest focus. We’re excited to bring both to London—a market where we believe they will thrive. Our goal is to create engaging, locally inspired environments that resonate with modern travellers”.
Keep this on your list for late 2028, definitely one to watch.
