If you’re anything like me, you can’t get away from the adverts for the British Airways Original Sale, radio, train stations, gym and more. They are seriously pushing it this year and they’ve just announced an additional ‘flash sale’ with extra savings.
British Airways Holidays is offering an additional saving of up to £200 on selected holidays, for a limited period, during their January Sale. Those booking a flight + hotel or flight + car holidays to all destinations and all cabins until 20th January 2025 can make the following additional savings:
£200 extra discount with a min spend of £5,000 per booking (Flight + Hotel only)
£100 extra discount with a min spend of £2,500 per booking (Flight + Hotel only)
£50 extra discount with a minimum spend of £1,250 per booking
£25 extra discount with a min spend of £625 per booking (Flight + Car only)

Virgin Atlantic Late Getaway Spend and Save Offer
January usually is the best time of the year to book travel as there are many deals to be had. We haven’t seen anything stand out this year, but Virgin Atlantic Holidays are offering a late getaway flash sale that may help if you are making some imminent holiday plans.
The promotion offers the chance to save up to £200 on holiday packages. It is available for bookings made until 22nd January 2025 for travel between 20th January 2025 and 30th April 2025. The offer is valid across all destinations, departing from London Heathrow, Manchester, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Newcastle, Cardiff, and Glasgow.
Savings are based on the total spend for new package bookings, which must include flights and either accommodation or car hire:
- Spend £1,000–£2,500: Save £50
- Spend £2,501–£4,000: Save £100
- Spend £4,001–£5,500: Save £150
- Spend £5,001 or more: Save £200
This offer is only valid for Flight + Hotel packages. While offers are combinable with one another, they cannot be combined with other promotions.
Save £125 with Sandals Resorts
Following on with the January holiday sales, Sandals Resorts is offering an exclusive £125 discount per booking and free UK airport lounge passes with No1 Lounges as part of their Winter Blues Sale.
The offer is available for bookings made until 4th February 2025, with a minimum stay of seven nights required. The free lounge passes are available for Economy or Premium Economy travellers flying from London Gatwick’s South Terminal (British Airways), London Heathrow’s Terminal 3 (Virgin Atlantic, KLM), or London Heathrow’s Terminal 5 (British Airways). Business Class passengers will receive access to their airline’s private lounges as standard.

I’m genuinely asking myself what is the point of looking at BA and their Sale….they really haven’t thought through the changes to their Club.
Unless they are genuinely cheaper or more convenient than other airlines, what’s the point of using BA at all, Sale or no sale.
