Testing at airports to be debated by parliament this week
Testing at airports as an alternative to quarantine could be introduced very soon. Once the go-ahead is given it will take some time to get testing up and running. However, Heathrow is already ahead of the game with its testing centre ready to go.
In a letter last week to the UK Prime Minister and Chancellor, major travel CEOs including bosses at Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham and Luton, give Boris Johnson seven days to give the go-ahead to testing. They said that this was essential to prevent the loss of up to 110,000 aviation and associated jobs. The letter warned they have already lost £4 billion due to COVID-19.
There will be a Commons debate on Thursday 10 September when MPs are likely to urge the Government to back airport testing and give more support to the aviation sector.
In their letter to Mr Johnson, the airport chief executives warned they have already lost £4 billion and are unlikely to see a return to pre-Covid levels of travel for another four years.
Matt Hancock already indicated that the government were considering shortening 14-day quarantine by introducing two tests, one on arrival and a second after five or eight days.

Loganair new routes to Newquay
If you live in the North of England or Scotland, there will be new flights to Newquay from next summer. Loganair have announced that from summer schedules at the end of March next year they will fly to Newquay from Edinburgh, Newcastle, Aberdeen and Glasgow.
British Airways are now operating a daily year-round service from Heathrow.

And no I do not have any connection or Shares with the company.
This away sale -Their reputation has been left in tatters, Shambolic customer service, ignoring customers and failing to deliver what is clearly promised is super bad service and business. I did not believe or think it could be that bad, but reading all the negative comments on facebook and twitter. I am clearly wrong. Teach me to believe some of the reviews that have been offered.
If you are asking about my own experience, then I had no issues at all with buying the case, delivery or returning it. I can only speak of my own experience.
