Virgin Red is promising its members a competition to make five lucky winners Virgin Points millionaires for Christmas!
From today (1 November 2021), Virgin Red members can log in and answer a simple quiz question before 30 November 2021 to be entered into a prize draw to win one million points that never expire. There are also runner-up prizes up for grabs, including a year’s supply of wine from Virgin Wines, 12-month gym membership from Virgin Active, a £500 Virgin voucher (that can be spent on flights) and five Azure Collection vouchers from Virgin Experience Days.
The five points millionaires will be contacted the week commencing 6 December, so they can choose to spend their points on Christmas shopping, charitable donations or making plans for an incredible 2022.

FCDO removes warnings for more countries
The FCDO is no longer advising against all but essential travel to Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela on Covid grounds. These countries were removed from the now empty red list today, 1 November.
The red list and hotel quarantine will be retained to guard against the threat posed by new variants of Covid-19 from a specific country.
The Cayman Islands remove quarantine requirements
Last week the Cayman Islands announced that they would be removing the requirement for fully vaccinated travellers to have to quarantine on arrival. BA, Jet Blue and Air Canada all fly to the Cayman Islands.
There are still several restrictions in place, including testing requirements for arriving passengers. Anyone aged five years or older must still take a pre-arrival PCR test 72 hours prior to departure. Negative test results must be presented upon airport check-in. You need to apply to Travel Cayman at least 14 days prior to departure for approval to travel and to confirm your fully vaccinated status.
Unvaccinated visitors and those under the age of 12 are not allowed entry into the Cayman Islands.
From 20 November, the islands will move to phase four of its reopening plan.
Kenneth Bryan, the Cayman Islands’ minister for tourism, said the health and security of residents and visitors have “always been the government’s number-one priority”.
“With a high percentage of the population now vaccinated, we are keen to relax the current restrictions and move to phase four of our reopening programme on 20 November,” he added.
“This will bring an important return to normality for travel and tourism on the islands in time for the holidays.
