Christmas markets are a magical way to experience festive traditions, and some cities are world-famous for them. These trips can be even more magical if you pay for them with Avios! Here are some of the best destinations for Christmas markets, and British Airways reward seat availability to help you plan your festive adventure:
London Heathrow – Cologne
There’s some great availability across October, November and December right now. On lots of days you’ll find 6 Economy reward seats and 4 Business Class reward seats to book with points.
London Heathrow – Munich
Availability is excellent across October, November and December, with most days having 6 Economy reward seats and 6 Business Class reward seats to book.
London Heathrow – Vienna
There’s some decent reward seat availability throughout October, November and December. On some days you’ll find 4 Economy seats and 4 Business Class seats to book with Avios. Vienna is a super popular Christmas market city though – so if that’s your plan too, book fast!
London City, London Heathrow – Prague
October is a tad spottier, but there’s good availability in November and December right now. On most days you’ll find 4 Economy reward seats and 4 Business Class reward seats to book.
London Heathrow – Brussels
A few days in October, November and December are totally wiped out at the moment, however, lots of other days have 5 Economy reward seats and 4 Business Class reward seats to book with Avios.
London Heathrow – Copenhagen
Reward seat availability is excellent in November and December, with most days having 6 Economy seats and 6 Business Class seats to book. There’s not much left in October though, although some days still have 2 Economy and 6 Business Class.
London Heathrow – Stockholm
Availability is fabulous across October, November and December at the moment. Most days have 6 Economy reward seats and 4 Business Class reward seats to book with Avios.

Also have a look at Graz – which you mentioned when the route was announced as ‘one of Austria’s best Christmas markets’. There seems to be a lot of avios availability but for some reason it isn’t recognised on RFF or Seatspy.
