British Airways and British Airways Holidays have launched their annual September Sale, which starts today and runs until Tuesday 29 September.
As usual, we will take a look at the best deals. There is definitely one deal worth looking at: the Club World to Melbourne, which is a new route for BA. Unless you fly a Chinese carrier, flights are usually well over £4000. There are only a couple of dates in March when it is available, so don’t hang around.

Earn 20,000 Bonus Avios on BA Holidays
There is also a special deal for Members of The British Airways Club for up to 20,000 Bonus Avios for booking a BA Holiday, which can be flight + hotel or flight + car hire.
To qualify, you must register on the offer page and book a new holiday package between 27 August 2026 and 23:59 BST on 1 September 2026. Travel must be completed between 28 August 2026 – 31 August 2027. The bonus Avios will be awarded based on the duration of trip.
A maximum of 20,000 bonus Avios is available on holidays with a duration of 10 or more nights. Here are the full levels of bonus Avios:
- Holiday packages of 3 to 6 nights will collect 5,000 bonus Avios
- Holiday packages of 7 to 9 nights will collect 10,000 bonus Avios
- Holiday packages of 10 or more nights will earn 20,000 bonus Avios
For Flight + Hotel bookings, your duration will be based on the number of hotel nights booked.
For Flight + Car bookings, your duration will be based on the number of days of car hire booked.
The bonus Avios are awarded only to the lead passenger on the booking. It is also worth noting that the offer is only available to UK residents and the first flight on the booking must depart the UK.
