Earn and Redeem Avios with PizzaExpress

From today, you can now earn and redeem Avios at PizzaExpress! This is the first time Avios has been redeemable at a UK restaurant. You’ll earn 3 Avios per £1 spent when paying with a pre-registered credit or debit card.
We suggest adding your card now if you have not already. Once registered, you will automatically collect Avios in all participating PizzaExpress restaurants, as well as BA’s other in-store partners. Registration is simple: add your cards at avios.com, then pay as normal in-restaurant via your server, Pay at Table or the PizzaExpress Club app. Your card must be registered at least 24 hours before dining, or the transaction will not earn Avios.
For redemptions, Avios can be converted into digital dining vouchers starting at 1,000 Avios for a £5 voucher. This works out at 0.5p per Avios, which is pretty standard for redemptions like this. Vouchers are valid for 6 months and must be used in a single transaction.
It’s always good to see more ways to earn and spend Avios being added. The chance to earn Avios is excellent news and can really add up if you’re a PizzaExpress regular! For example, a £140 bill would earn you 420 Avios. As with many non-flight redemptions, the value of 0.5p per Avios is low, but it’s still an option. That same bill could be paid with the equivalent of 28,000 Avios, and this would also stop you from earning Avios on your dining.
You can only earn and redeem PizzaExpress restaurant points, not delivery and supermarket products. Unfortunately, the restaurants at Gatwick and Edinburgh airports are also excluded, as well as a few other venues.
Alcohol only qualifies when purchased alongside food, and you won’t earn Avios if you pay via digital wallets.
PizzaExpress’s Chief Commercial Officer, Chris Holmes, added:
“As two British icons, one of the high street and one of the skies, we’re thrilled to allow members of The British Airways Club, and proper pizza fans, the chance to earn Avios while they enjoy all their favourites, and also spend their well-earned Avios when dining in any of our UK restaurants.”
CYBER MONDAY FLASH OFFER: IHG 5x Points and Uncapped Earnings

IHG One Rewards has brought back its 5x Cyber Monday promotion, and it’s a fantastic earning opportunity! This is separate from the Cyber Sale launched last week. The earning potential is completely uncapped, unlike previous years.
You can now earn 5x base points for stays completed by 31st December 2025, as long as you book on 1st or 2nd December.
You must also register for the offer. You can do this here. If you’re already registered for IHG’s Up to 3x autumn offer, you are automatically enrolled.
How many points could you earn? If you booked a £600 stay ($796), you would earn 7,960 base points. During the promotion, you would receive an extra 40 points per $1 spent, earning 31,840 points. This doesn’t include your status bonus. For a £600 stay, you would earn between 31,840 and 47,760 points – excellent value and one of the best deals we’ve seen this year!
To receive the bonus, you must book a cash stay at a qualifying rate, and you’ll only earn for one room per night. Find the terms here. If you have a cancellable booking, you could potentially cancel and re-book with the bonus.
It’s also worth checking your AMEX app as there’s a targeted offer of £75 off a £300 IHG spend.
This is the best time to book an IHG stay before the end of the year, whether for a Christmas shopping trip or a last-minute break.

Ryanair Ends Prime Membership After it Saved Members Money

If you’re already a member, don’t panic, you’ll be able to keep the benefits until October 2026. After that, there will be no option to renew or extend the scheme.
The announcement also notes that Ryanair will instead remain focused on offering the lowest airfares in Europe. This is typical Ryanair to advertise a membership that can save you money, then get rid of it because it saved people too much!
