Emirates to Add Another Daily Flight from Dublin
From 26th October, Emirates will add a third daily flight to Dublin. There will be 21 flights per week in response to strong demand for both passenger and cargo capacity.
The new service, EK165, will depart Dubai at 02:10, arriving in Dublin at 06:25. The return, EK166, leaves Dublin at 08:25, arriving back in Dubai at 20:00. This joins the existing afternoon and evening departures.
The new service will operate using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft configured in a three-class layout with eight private suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class, and 304 seats in Economy Class.
While the new service doesn’t feature a Premium Economy Cabin, this will be available on the other two daily services from Dublin at 13:10 and 20:50. Emirates continues to roll out its refurbished aircraft on the Dublin route, with a second retrofitted Boeing 777 featuring Premium Economy and the latest Business Class cabin arriving from 16th October.
The third daily flight means a more convenient schedule if you’re connecting in Dubai. This expansion improves access to several Asia-Pacific destinations, including Sydney, Melbourne, Bangkok, and Singapore.
Tickets are now available to book. You can book the inaugural flight for £3,157.02 – priced at the same amount as the other two flight times:
- Economy: £429.40 (50,700 Miles to upgrade to Business)
- Business: £2,276.52 (44,850 Miles to upgrade to First)
- First: £4,683.52
Business pricing remains consistent throughout the year, ranging from £2,740 to £2,800.

5,000 Avios for Investing £500 with Nutmeg
If you’ve been considering opening a new investment account, this Nutmeg offer is worth a look. Nutmeg is offering a bonus of 5,000 Avios to new clients who invest £500 in one go. That works out at 10 Avios per £1.
To be eligible, the £500 must go into one of the following accounts:
- Any Stocks and Shares ISA
- Lifetime ISA
- Junior ISA
- GIA
- Personal Pension
Nutmeg portfolios are built and managed by their in-house investment team (a J.P. Morgan company), with options ranging from fully managed to socially responsible and Smart Alpha strategies. Just make sure to weigh all your options and research investing before committing.
Here are some more details about each account:
Worth It?
£500 is the minimum amount you can invest with Nutmeg. It’s also worth noting that Nutmeg typically offers 2,500 Avios for opening an account, so you’re essentially receiving a 2,500 Avios bonus. This is one of the best bonus Avios rates we’ve seen from Nutmeg for investing a smaller sum. Usually, the amount you need to invest is significantly higher.
For larger sums, past promotions would lead to significantly more Avios. If you take advantage of this offer, you may be ineligible for a future one. In 2024, a promotion was run where you needed to invest £5,000 to £300,000 to earn 2,500-300,000 Avios.
Avios will be rewarded within 55 days of your investment. This promotion cannot be claimed together with any other Nutmeg offer or promotion for new Nutmeg customers.
If you were already considering setting up one of these investment accounts, Nutmeg is worth considering.
You can set up a goal depending on your budget and risk tolerance, choose an investment style, and Nutmeg will do the rest.

15 Avios per £1 with Iberostar Hotels and Resorts
One of the headline-grabbing offers this month is the 15 Avios per £1 with IHG. This is 5 times the usual rate of 3 Avios per £1. This rate only applies to Iberostar Hotels and Resorts. All other IHG properties will earn you 6 Avios per £1, which is still a nice bonus.
Iberostar is best known for its beachfront all-inclusive resorts and luxurious properties, particularly in Spain, the Canary and Balearic Islands, the Caribbean, and Mexico.
-
Joia by Iberostar: Luxurious 5-star, adults-only resorts in beachfront locations including Tenerife, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and Mexico.
-
Iberostar Selection: beachfront locations with style and premium touches
-
Iberostar Waves: Holiday playgrounds perfect for families and couples
Looking at the JOIA Salomé by Iberostar in Tenerife, a Superior Sea View Suite with All-Inclusive in October costs £6,098. After removing VAT and other charges (*10%), your Avios-earning base would be £5,544, earning you up to 83,154 Avios.
In contrast, if you booked without using the Avios.com portal and had linked your BA account with IHG to transfer points automatically, you’d instead receive 16,423 Avios. Note that taxes and charges are variable by property.
Other Things to Note
- This bonus also complements IHG’s own offers. However, using a voucher or offer code when making a transaction could result in you not collecting Avios or collecting fewer Avios than the advertised rate.
- Your Avios will be awarded 90 – 120 days after you have completed your stay.
- Rooms booked and paid for by IHG Rewards Points are not eligible for rewards.
- Rewards are not available on bookings for Six Senses properties, Mr. & Mrs Smith properties, and Kimpton properties in the USA.
- Rewards are also not available if your purchase is not fully completed online.
*Actual VAT and fees may vary by property and could impact the final Avios earned.
14 Avios per £1 with Viator
Viator offers a huge number of experiences worldwide which would add nicely to your travel plans. You can book group tours, private tours and stand-alone tickets. If you need to purchase tickets for your next trip, now is the ideal time.
For example, a £250 tour would earn you 3,500 Avios compared to 1,000 Avios at the usual rate of 4 Avios per £1.
50 Avios per £1 with Ful London
Ful usually has a high earning rate of 20 Avios per £1. Ful specialises in luxurious yet accessible hair products, perfect for stocking up or as a gift. There’s also plenty of travel products available.
With the average cost of a shampoo being £25, you could earn 1,250 Avios per shampoo – 5,000 Avios for a £100 order.
Note that postage, purchase taxes, and other fees are not included, and your transaction may be invalidated if you use voucher codes.
