Etihad Enters Codeshare with Air Seychelles
Etihad Airways and Air Seychelles have announced a new codeshare agreement, expanding travel options between Abu Dhabi and Seychelles. Starting May 2025, the airlines will operate six weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Mahe, with seamless connections to destinations like Praslin and Mauritius via Air Seychelles.
We had a suspicion that something like this was around the corner. Only a couple of weeks ago, Michele and I attended a virtual roundtable with Etihad CEO, Antonoaldo Neves where he was asked about the lack of partnerships with other airlines and whilst they couldn’t confirm anything was in the works, the smiles on their faces gave away something. This might be that, or perhaps there is more news on the horizon.
The partnership offers passengers a consistent travel experience, including shared baggage allowances, complimentary meals, and inflight entertainment. Etihad Guest members will also earn miles on these flights. The new flights, available for booking now, will begin on 23 May 2025.
Expedia January Sale up to 25% Off
Expedia Group has launched its January 2025 Sale early, running from 1st to 26th January 2025, offering travellers in the UK 15% off most hotels. Members of the One Key loyalty programme can save even more with an extra 10% off, for a total discount of up to 25%. This sale covers a wide range of hotels, although we don’t have information on which hotels are covered, we will need to wait until launch date.
How to Access the Discounts:
- Visit Expedia’s UK website or app between 1st and 26th January 2025.
- Search for your destination and travel dates.
- Look for hotels displaying the sale discount.
- Log in or sign up for the One Key loyalty programme to access the additional savings.
