Earn up to 250k Avios bonus with a transfer to JP Morgan
I previously wrote about a great offer to earn 10,000 Avios simply by investing £500 with JP Morgan. You can view the offer in this article.
If you already have an ISA and would be willing to transfer it to JP Morgan, you can earn up to a whopping 250k Avios depending on the size of the transfer. Obviously, you would need to ensure that it is the right product for you and make sure you understand the fee structure compared to your current ISA.
You can either earn cashback or collect Avios when you transfer £5,000 or more from your current ISAs, pensions, Lifetime ISAs, Junior ISAs or Child Trust Funds.
How do I get the bonus?
1. Fill out the form here to register for the offer.
2. To choose Avios as your reward, enter your British Airways Club membership number. For cashback, leave this box blank.
3. Open an account, if you don’t already have one. If you already have an account, make sure to tick the box.
4. Initiate your transfers from your dashboard by 8 May 2026.
5. Stay invested with us until at least 8 May 2027.
6. You’ll then receive your reward within 60 days of this date.

Apple releases Air Tag 2 – is it worth replacing your old one?

Air Tags can be an absolute game-changer, not only with luggage but with smaller objects like keys or passports. I really wish I had a passport cover with an inbuilt air tag holder when my passport fell out of my pocket at Gatwick last week! Not only will it show you where it is and the direction, you can also play a sound to help locate it. It also alerted my friend that his luggage had most likely been stolen, since the AirTag in his locked case, which was supposed to be delivered by BA’s courier, had been sitting outside a residential address for days. He found the AirTag carefully placed on a post box!
Apple has now unveiled the new AirTag that helps users keep track of and find the items with Apple’s Find My app — now with an expanded finding range and a louder speaker. Currently, the old ones play a beeping sound, but it is quite faint if you are not in the same room. So the louder speaker is definitely a needed improvement. There is also a new unique chime for the AirTag.
The good news is that it is the same price as its predecessor: £29 for a single AirTag and £99 for a four-pack, with free personalised engraving available on apple.com/uk and the Apple Store app.
Apple’s second-generation Ultra Wideband chip — the same chip found in the iPhone 17 lineup, iPhone Air, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Apple Watch Series 11 — powers the new AirTag, making it easier to locate than before. The new tag useshaptic, visual, and audio feedback and Precision Finding guides users to their lost items from up to 50 percent farther away than the previous generation.
For the first time, users can use Precision Finding on Apple Watch Series 9 or later, or Apple Watch Ultra 2 or later, to find their AirTag. This could be handy if you had a phone in a bag that had been lost since you would be able to find it using your watch. You can also use Find My on a laptop or iPad.
The new AirTag integrates with Share Item Location, an iOS feature designed to help users recover a misplaced item by temporarily and securely sharing its location with trusted third parties, such as airlines, so they can assist in recovering delayed luggage or other lost items. Apple has partnered directly with more than 50 airlines to privately and securely accept Share Item Location links.
The new AirTag requires a compatible iPhone with iOS 26 or later, or iPad with iPadOS 26 or later. Customers must have an Apple Account and be signed into their iCloud account. Certain features require Find My to be enabled in iCloud settings.
Precision Finding on Apple Watch requires Apple Watch Series 9 or later, or Apple Ultra 2 or later, with watchOS 26.2.1.
The new AirTags are definitely worth considering as an upgrade to your current one given the low price, but whether you need it may depend on the item you are planning to attach it to.
