Six Senses London accepting reservations
Six Senses London, the first UK destination from the Six Senses brand, has confirmed it will open to guests in early 2026. Six Senses is part of IHG, and the hotel is now live on their website.
Set within The Whiteley in Bayswater, the restored Grade II-listed landmark has been restored into a more contemporary design while respecting the classic architecture. Six Senses London will feature 109 guest rooms and suites, many with private terraces.

Whiteley’s Kitchen, Bar and Café will feature “maverick British cuisine” with local producers highlighted while the bar will serve creative cocktails and the café will offer farmhouse bakes and small-batch coffee.
Six Senses Spa will span 2,300 sqm (25,000 sq ft) on a single floor, with modern recovery methods and ancient healing practices through the Alchemy Bar and longevity medical clinic. The spa will feature London’s first magnesium pool within a hotel, a flotation pod and cryotherapy chamber, along with movement studios and personalised programmes.
The hotel will also introduce the brand’s first private club, Six Senses Place. Membership is available by application only.
Reservations are available from 1 April and start at £689, which I think is quite reasonable for a 5-star hotel in London. Prices finally seem to be coming down to more reasonable levels this year, which is a relief.

30% more Avios with Heathrow Rewards

I must admit I have kind of given up on Heathrow Rewards in recent years. Now that there is not much you can buy Duty Free at the airport, I generally only buy things at Heathrow that I could not get some sort of loyalty points or discount on elsewhere. The scheme is good if you want to treat yourself to something like a watch or a handbag, as you can earn a reasonable amount of points that can be spent at Duty Free or double your points’ worth by using them for a parking discount. Or if you are using something like the Heathrow Express or official parking.
You can also use your points to transfer into Avios (as well as a number of other airlines, such as Virgin) and for the first time in many years, there is a new transfer bonus of 30%. As you get double, this will give you 325 Avios for 250 Heathrow Rewards points instead of the usual 250 Avios. The promotion is on until 11 November 2025. You need to transfer the points into a BAClub account, not any other airline. It will take up to 30 days for the bonus to arrive as they are credited separately into your account after the transfer.
You can convert a maximum of 10,000 Heathrow Rewards points to British Airways Avios per day.
You can find more details here.
