Iberia Avios Redemption Sale: Up to 40% Off
![]()
Iberia has launched a limited-time Avios sale, offering up to 40% off the Avios needed on selected routes when you book by 26th January 2026, for travel until 24th March 2026. If you have a trip in mind for these dates, it is well worth a look.
The promotion applies to a good range of destinations, though Business Class is not available on all routes.
- Spain: A Coruña, Alicante, Almería, Asturias, Bilbao, Granada, Jerez, Pamplona, San Sebastián, Santander, Santiago de Compostela, Valencia, Vigo
- Europe: Athens, Bologna, Brussels, Budapest, Bordeaux, Dubrovnik, Düsseldorf, Florence, Frankfurt, Funchal, Geneva, Hamburg, Innsbruck, Lisbon, London, Lyon, Marseille, Milan, Munich, Nantes, Nice, Oslo, Porto, Paris, Prague, Rome, Rovaniemi, Stockholm, Toulouse, Tromsø, Turin, Venice, Vienna, Zurich
- Africa: Algiers, Casablanca, Dakar, Tangier
- America: Bogotá, Boston, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Mexico City, Dallas, Fortaleza, Guayaquil, Havana, Lima, Los Angeles, Miami, Montevideo, Monterrey, New York, Orlando, Quito, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, San José, San Juan, Santiago de Chile, São Paulo, Santo Domingo, Washington
- Asia: Doha
You can’t see the exact discount you get while searching, but there are some pretty good prices. For example, you can book a one-way Business Class ticket from Heathrow to Madrid for 13,000 Avios, Madrid to Havana for 42,450 Avios, and Madrid to Chicago for 36,450 Avios.
As usual, taxes, fees and carrier surcharges are still payable in full. The sale also excludes Iberia Air Shuttle services, Vueling, and LEVEL flights, and cannot be combined with other Avios promotions.
Iberia redemptions are often cheaper than BA equivalents, especially on long-haul routes, and with the sale, it gets even better. Remember, you can instantly transfer Avios from BA to Iberia via ‘Transfer Avios‘ as long as you’ve had your Iberia account for at least 90 days.
TodayTix: A New Way to Earn Avios

It’s now possible to collect British Airways Avios on theatre and live entertainment bookings thanks to the new partnership with TodayTix, which partners with over 1,300 venues globally. Simply book your tickets via TodayTix, and you’ll earn 1 Avios per £1 spent.
Eligible productions include long-running West End favourites such as Wicked, The Lion King and Phantom of the Opera, alongside newer openings such as Paddington the Musical.
To celebrate the partnership, you can earn a one-off 500 Avios bonus when you book before 9th February.
It’s always good to see new Avios partnerships that give even more ways to earn Avios. No, you’re unlikely to earn enough Avios for a flight with theatre tickets alone, but when you utilise many of the ways you can earn Avios, including paying with an Avios-earning card, they can really add up! Just remember to link your BA account with your TodayTix account.
New Inverness to Dublin Route with Aer Lingus

Aer Lingus Regional will launch its first-ever service from Inverness Airport on 21st May, restoring a direct link to Dublin that has been absent since 2024.
The route will be operated by Emerald Airlines (only Economy available) and will depart Dublin at 13:20 and Inverness at 15:30 on Thursdays and Sundays.
During the summer season, the timings have been planned to optimise onward connections. Aer Lingus’ long-haul departures are far more reachable without an overnight in London or an awkward domestic connection.

From Dublin, Aer Lingus operates over 20 transatlantic routes, including New York JFK, Boston, Orlando and Miami, alongside more than 90 short-haul destinations. Aer Lingus is often overlooked for Avios redemptions, but it is actually one of the best value options for long-haul flights, with lower taxes and charges than many alternatives.
Pricing on the Inverness to Dublin route is competitive, with most flights coming in at around £87.50 one way, or €76.60 (£70) for the return sector.
This service is much needed, and it’s great to see it return. You can discover AerClub loyalty programme + the cheapest way to earn status in our guide.
