15 Avios per £1 on hotels
We have covered Avios hotels before on TLFL, but given the current 50% bonus on Avios earned with them, I thought it was worth another mention.

Avios Hotels are owned by Expedia and give customers the chance to earn good amounts of Avios on hotel stays. I use them myself when I want to book an independent hotel or a chain where I don’t collect points. The downside is that the prices are usually a little higher than if you booked through the hotel or Expedia. However, the extra cost is much lower than buying or boosting Avios, so you may decide, as I have, that it is simply a way of buying Avios extremely cheaply. The reason I don’t use them for hotels such as Marriott is that I would not get my status perks or collect Marriott points. You can also already collect Avios on Marriott hotels through the Avios portal, so it makes sense to use that, albeit at a lower earning rate.
The promotion offers a 50% increase in Avios earnings, up to 15 Avios per £1, and runs until 27 February. Your stay must be completed by 31 August 2026. You can find the offer page here.
25% off ITA flights flash sale

ITA frequently offers some great reductions on its flight prices, and a new flash sale has just started. The downside is that you will have to connect through Italy if you are flying long-haul. However, as a relatively new airline, they do have a modern business class product. You can read our review of the long-haul experience here.
The sale is only on until 16 February 2026, and you need to fly between 23 February 2026 and 30 June 2026 from Great Britain to any destination in Economy (Light fare included), Premium Economy, or Business Class. The discount only applies to the base fare, not the taxes and charges. The discount is not valid on flights from 18 March 2026 to 6 April 2026.
Use code: LOVE – you will need to enter the code after selecting your flights and click on “Apply” to view the discounted price
You can find the sale page here.
50% bonus when you buy Avios
If you still need to top up and can’t use the boost promotion, there is a new offer from Qatar Airways. This is the best =bonus which normally see for buying Avios, although boosting of using Avios hotels often works out better value.
It is simple to transfer from Qatar to your BA Club account, and it is instant once your accounts have been linked.
The bonus is staggered, as is often the case. I’d say that unless it’s urgent, the lowest bonus is not worth buying for.
Here are the different levels of bonus:
- 30% Bonus when you buy 12,000+ Avios
- 40% Bonus when you buy 22,000+ Avios
- 50% Bonus when you buy 32,000+ Avios
If you were to buy the minimum amount of Avios for the 50% bonus, it would cost £560 for 32,000 + 16,000 Avios. You can buy up to 250,000 Avios per year.
The offer is only on until 16 February. You can find the offer page here.
