BA sale £300 off
The BA end of sale is still on and has a new offer. You can find our best sale picks in this article.
There is now an additional discount offering up to £300 in additional savings on flight + hotel or flight + car holidays booked between 4–9 September 2025. Be careful with the offer as the type of holiday you can book varies between each level of discount.
The discount is off BA Holidays, which are arguably one of the best ways to maintain BA status if you are still trying to do so. You earn 1 new tier point for every £1 spent on your holiday. The downside is that the tier points will be divided by the number of people on the booking.
Here are the levels of discount:
- £300 extra discount with a min spend of £10,000 per booking on a flight + hotel booking
- £200 extra discount with a min spend of £5,000 per booking on a flight + hotel booking
- £100 extra discount with a min spend of £2,500 per booking on a flight + hotel or flight + car booking
- £50 extra discount with a min spend of £1,250 per booking on a flight + hotel or flight + car booking
- £25 extra discount with a min spend of £625 per booking (flight + car only)

Buy Avios 50% bonus
A new bonus offer has just started with Finnair when you buy Avios. Even if you want to use them for your BA Club account, moving them from your Finnair account is easy (except for Iberia – BA transfers, which have been stopped due to fraud). 50% is the best rate that I have seen recently, so it is reasonable to buy with the 50% bonus. However, this is a staggered bonus with smaller purchases getting 30% bonus. I would not bother buying at the lower rates or on speculation since there are frequent promotions.
However, there are other ways to earn Avios quickly, such as The Wine Flyer, or if you have earned some Avios recently, it is a much better value to use the Boost Your Avios function, as it works out much cheaper than buying Avios. The downside is that you can only boost Avios you have earned in the last 30 days by up to 3 x. You can earn 300,000 Avios per year using Boost my Avios.
To get the bonus you need to buy at least 5,000 Avios between 3–17 September 2025.
Bonus rates:
5,000–19,000 | 30% |
20,000–49,000 | 35% |
50,000–74,000 | 40% |
75,000 or more | 50% |

KLM/Air France business class sale

There are a few reasonable deals in the latest Air France/KLM sales. I have been very impressed when I have travelled with Air France on long-haul flights. KLM is also a solid option although I found the food quite dull. You can read all our reviews of flights on this page.
The sale is on until 23 September 2025. I would say Barbados is the best deal. These are all from London but both airlines fly from the regions, so it is worth checking your local departure point. The flights will involve a connection through either Paris or Amsterdam. I have found Amsterdam to be fairly easy for connections to long-haul flights, although it can involve some very long walks. Paris involves more hassle if you get someone officious in security, like I always seem to (they used to make you change a perfectly legal zip plastic bag for their own). Both have decent lounges, but the Air France one has much better food and wine.
