Firstly a few bits of admin. The card allows you to spend at home or abroad in £,$ or € and works at the till just like using any other card with contactless and Apple Pay. I’ll also apologise if the articles are a bit behind or a bit briefer than usual. I’ve just had hand surgery, typically on my right hand, so typing is quite tricky and slow!
British Airways luxury sale
British Airways has launched a new luxury sale almost immediately after the last sale finished.
The prices are pretty similar to the last sale. The value is to be had mainly in the holidays as not only is this often cheaper than buying separately, but if you stay 5 nights or hire a car for 5 nights, you get double-tier points on your holiday. If you struggled with getting the double tier points to post before, BA has fixed the issue. My last holiday tier points posted automatically in less than a week. The other good point about holidays is that you get to only pay a small deposit until nearer the time.
The flights are only on mid and long haul in the sale, but some Club Europe holidays are available.

Hilton double night credits
If you are struggling to make status this year with Hilton, or fancy trying to gain status then Hilton just made it a lot easier. However, you only have until the end of the year to get the stays in, so you can’t hang around. The offer basically gives you status in half the amount of stays than before with double night credits for stays.
The offer is valid for stays completed 11 October – 31 December 2022 or resort within the Hilton Portfolio. Hilton Honors™ members must first register at hiltonhonors.com/en_US/double-night-credit/landing/ prior to completing a stay within the Promotion Period. Members will earn double night credit per stay during the Promotion Period. Double night credit means one additional, tier qualifying night credit will be awarded for each night stayed in the promotion period.
You get the double night credit for all nights completed in the promotion period, regardless of a check-in date before the promotion period begins or a check-out date after the promotion period ends. The offer also applies to reward nights and stays that are already booked. You must register for the promotion before you stay.
Double nights will count towards Hilton Honors members’ 2022 night count and will be eligible for rollover night credit.
There is no limit to the total amount of double night credits that may be earned during the Promotion Period with this offer.
