EXTRA: Is this the new BA Club World seat?

The internet is on fire today.  BA has been teasing us on social media for the last 48 hours about the new BA Club World seat!

 

And they also posted a countdown on Instagram earlier –

Well, the clever bunch at FlyerTalk have done some digging and also some photo processing, and the general consensus is this is it –

All I can say is if the rumours are true…wow!

It was rumoured the new suite is called waterfront and here are a few links and pictures to whet your appetite –

A few takeaways if it’s true –

  • A 24inch 4k IFE screen
  • Converts into a 79 inch flatbed
  • Bluetooth and NFC mobile device pairing
  • Charging stations with possible wireless charging

All I can say is well done BA if it’s true and I look forward to the reveal tomorrow morning!

  1. Wow indeed. Let’s hope this comes to fruition. Love the look of it and will be a true upgrade for BA. Only “problem” will be the length of time they take to retrofit the entire fleet which will understandably take a number of years.

  2. Fingers crossed that the rumours are true!!! I think the A350 might become my favourite BA aircraft if so.

  6. It looks lovely, and seems to resolve all my issues about the current CW seat. I just have 2 niggling thoughts.

    The window seat looks great – how about the middle pairs, assuming BA is going for 1-2-?
    Will I live long enough to experience it on the routes I use! 😉
