The ex-Dublin US fares come and go, but there are some good fares to first and second-tier cities on 6-month advance purchase. The second-tier cities are cheaper, but many of them involve two stops.

Cheap tier point runs:
The cheapest BA 160 TP run is Sofia at £212 in Club Europe return, with the next cheapest being Rekyavik at £304, Bucharest at £316 and Istanbul at £330. These are all for 2024, but you can check sooner dates using BA Low Fare Finder.
- Stockholm to Malaga or Lisbon Finnair £532 for 360 tier points (beware it’s a short-haul aircraft for 5 hours)
- Helsinki to Malaga or Lisbon Finnair £532 for 280 tier points
- Abu Dhabi to Jakarta Sri Lankan £800 for 560 tier points
Hotels

Stockholm to Malaga is 40TP in business each way on the BA Avios calculator, how do you get to 360? Love the site!
The route is via Helsinki with Finnair. Helsinki Malaga or Lisbon is a long haul route so gives 280 TP return.
Is it possible to quote any business flight deals from Scotland?

Hi Michelle, any suggest routing for Palm Springs? Couldn’t find anything that had a transcon from JFK to LAX.
Yes there seems to be a real lack of availablity for the transcon routes.
Other 140 TP routes are:
San Francisco (SFO) – JFK
JFK – Orange County (SNA)
LAX – Boston (BOS)
LAX – Miami (MIA)
N. East coast to Seattle, Tuscon, Phoenix, Las Vegas
However, most of these only have a standard recliner.
