I have covered the best flights in business class in the sale in this article, now let’s have a look at some of the best holiday deals in the sale, particularly for those looking for tier points. The sale must be booked by midnight on 19 March 2024 and you can find the BA main sale page here.

The BA double tier points offer has been now extended until 30 June 2025. With the offer, you get double tier points when you book a holiday, including a flight plus at least 5 nights’ car or hotel. These must be within the dates of the flights and you must use them to get the bonus points. The offer is now only valid for holidays originating from the UK (includes Jersey). Bonus Tier Points will be awarded separately to standard Tier Points and within 14 days of your return flight.

Boosting your Tier points with a domestic sector

There has been some confusion over the terms which state that you can’t depart the UK more than once, but it doesn’t mean you can’t start from an airport outside London. It means you can’t leave the UK more than once.

As an example, last November, I decided to start my holiday to Tenerife with a mini break in Belfast and fly from there. You can read the review of my hotel, Ritz Carlton Abama here. This trip netted me 480 tier points , not including positioning – the equivalent of flying first class on the long haul. 

So when you are searching for a holiday, have a look at starting outside London to add on two domestic sectors and get an extra 160 tier points. Belfast is often one of the cheapest starting points and a great place for a short break. 

Club Europe

October and November yield some decent holidays starting from £459 per person including Club Europe flights.
