British Airways Holidays bonus promotion
BA Holidays has a new bonus Avios promotion that starts today, 9 April, and runs until Monday 20 April inclusive. BA Holidays is the most lucrative way to earn tier points in the new BA The Club, as not only do you get the standard bonus tier points for the flights, you also get 1 tier point per £1 that you spend per person. Unlike previously, you can just add a single night’s hotel or car hire at the time of booking to turn the flight into a holiday if you don’t want to commit to the whole trip with BA Holidays.
However, for the Avios promotion there is a minimum number of nights required. The promotion allows you to collect up to 10,000 bonus Avios when booking a British Airways Holidays package of 5 nights or more, for travel from 9 April up to 18 December 2026 inclusive, valid on all destinations.
Given recent events in the Middle East, booking a package holiday can also give more protection than booking flights and hotels separately, which may be another reason to consider a BA Holiday.
There are several other important T&C:
- You must register for the offer between 9-20 April BEFORE booking the holiday
- It can be a hotel or car hire for at least 5 CONSECUTIVE nights
- You must be a UK resident
- Where the booking includes flight, hotel accommodation and car hire, the qualifying package booking duration requirement will be satisfied if either the hotel stay or the car hire period meets the minimum duration requirement.
- A qualifying package booking is defined as holiday package consisting of a flight combined with a hotel and/or car hire made in one transaction, where only one total price is shown and prices for element such as “flight” and/or “hotel” “car” aren’t shown.
- Cyprus, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia are excluded.
To use the offer:
- Register between 9 April and 20 April 2026, with your British Airways Club membership number
- Search for your holiday (duration must be 5 nights or more)
- Book your Flight + Hotel, or flight + Car package
- Travel between 9 April and 18 December 2026
- Collect 10,000 bonus Avios once you’ve travelled

Virgin Holidays 300 tier point bonus
You can now earn a 300-point tier bonus on Virgin Atlantic Holidays booked between 7 April 2026 and 20 April 2026, but you can travel on any date. It also gives you the opportunity to earn the bonus points on a cruise holiday, as well as hotels and car hire.
The 300 bonus Tier Points will be awarded only to the lead booker on Virgin Atlantic Holidays.
There are quite a few T&C to take note of:
- The booking must include a Virgin Atlantic-operated flight.
- The total value of the booking is £4,000, or more, excluding change or cancellation fees.
- The booking as a minimum must include flights + accommodation, flights + car hire or flights + cruise.
- The hotel, car or cruise element of the Virgin Atlantic Holiday must be for a minimum of three nights.
- The hotel, car or cruise booked as part of the Virgin Atlantic Holiday must be utilised for the full duration of the booking.
- The booking must originate and end in the UK.
- The lead booker must add their Flying Club number to their Virgin Atlantic Holidays booking online, via the Virgin Atlantic Holidays Customer Centre, or in any Virgin Atlantic Holidays store before travel to earn 300 bonus Tier Points.

New American Express hotel offer with £75 off
Amex Stays is back giving Amex Cardmembers up to £75 back once per Card, when they spend £300 or more at select UK Hotels, when booking and paying before 1 June 2026. The offer is valid on both pre-paid bookings as well as checkout spend, but you need to book directly with the hotel or brand.
Cardmembers can choose from a range of hotels across the UK, including new additions such as The Hari and Hambleton Hall. There are hotels in various locations across the UK but the majority are situated in London.
There are two groups of hotels with different T&C. Group A hotels exclude food and drink purchases from the £300 spend requirement, whereas Group B hotels allow them to be included.
You can use the offer once per hotel brand, per card. I only have the offer on my BA Premium Plus card, which is surprising as normally I’d expect it on my Platinum card above all else. However, it is always worth checking all your cards as it can vary from person to person.
