The details released so far don’t mention some existing Uber elements such Uber Boat, Lime bikes, flights and coach tickets. So, as yet, we don’t know what changes, if any, will happen to these.
New Marriott Bonvoy 5000 point promotion – targeted?
A new promotion has appeared on my Marriott account, which I suspect is targeted, so it may be worth checking your promotions on your Bonvoy account.
The offer gives you up to 5000 for a minimum two-night stay. The number of points you earn depends on the brand that you stay at:
- 1,000 bonus points: Element Hotels, Residence Inn, Marriott Executive Apartments, Protea Hotels by Marriott, Four Points Flex by Sheraton, Apartments by Marriott
- 2,000 bonus points: AC Hotels by Marriott, Aloft Hotels, Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield Inn, Four Points by Sheraton, Moxy Hotels, citizenM
- 5,000 bonus points: Autograph Collection, Delta Hotels, Le Meridien, Marriott Hotels, Renaissance Hotels, Sheraton, Tribute Portfolio, Westin.

- Minimum stay length – 2 nights
- Booking window: 1 June – 31 August 2026
- Valid stay dates 15 June-7 September 2026
- Countries included: Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Eurostar sale with 25% off
There’s 25% off one-way adult tickets in Eurostar Standard and Eurostar Plus to Paris, Lille, Brussels, Rotterdam direct, or Amsterdam direct. There is no promo code, you can just book tickets now. Don’t forget you can collect 1 Avios per £1 spent on Eurostar tickets booked via the Uber app (2 Avios per £1 after 15 June).
The offer is valid for travel from London between 24 June and 23 September 2026.
