Up to 5x Avios with Qatar Airways Holidays

Qatar Airways Holidays offer September 2026

Qatar Airways Holidays is running a tempting Avios bonus offer. Book two Flight + Hotel packages before 30th September and you could earn up to 5x Avios on the eligible package value, on top of the Avios earned from your flights. Qpoints can also be earned on the flights and package value as normal, so a holiday package can be a great way to work towards the tier you’re aiming for.

To be eligible, you must travel by 31st August 2027, use the promo code BONUSAVIOS and make sure both bookings are linked to the same Qatar Airways Privilege Club account. You can use Cash + Avios and still qualify.

Earning rates work out at:

  • First Booking: 3x Avios  – 3 Avios per $1 spent (or equivalent) – This is still a great offer even if you don’t book a second trip.
  • Second Booking: 5x Avios – 5 Avios per $1 spent (or equivalent) – This is fantastic value, especially if you make the higher-value booking your second trip.

For example, if you made two bookings with an eligible package value equivalent to US$5,000 (£3,695) each, the first would earn 15,000 Avios and the second 25,000 Avios compared with 10,000 Avios at the usual earning rate. That’s 40,000 Avios from the package spend, before adding the Avios earned separately from your flights. Remember, you’ll earn extra Avios on your flights if you hold Privilege Club status. More info in our Privilege Club guide.

Any further bookings will revert back to the usual earning rate. You can book packages with a 10% deposit, with the rest payable 30 days before departure.

There are plenty of destinations to choose from, such as The Maldives, Phuket, Sydney and Bali, though you’ll have to consider transiting in Doha, so not all holiday destinations make sense if leaving from the UK.

You’ll also need to consider current Middle East tensions and how your trip could be affected if tensions rise again.

You can’t combine this offer with other Qatar Airways Holidays codes or discounts. Bonus Avios are credited 45-60 days after travel is completed.

Finnair-Radisson Rewards Partnership Now Live

Finnair Radisson partnership

The Finnair-Radisson Rewards partnership is now fully operational. Two-way transfers between Avios and Radisson Rewards are now possible, alongside a status match for Finnair Plus status holders.

The information Radisson initially published suggested Finnair Platinum members would be matched to Radisson Premium. This has now been corrected, and Platinum and Platinum Lumo members will actually be matched to VIP.

Matches are as follows:

  • Finnair Plus Silver and Finnair Plus Gold – Radisson Rewards Premium
  • Finnair Plus Platinum and Finnair Plus Platinum Lumo – Radisson Rewards VIP

You would normally need to stay at Radisson properties for 30 nights or 20 stays in a calendar year to reach VIP status. Benefits include free breakfast for two, upgrades to the best available room category, and more.

Status is valid for two years, so it’s a valuable benefit even if you only stay occasionally.

To match your status, link your Radisson and Finnair accounts through Finnair Plus.

Transferring Radisson Rewards points into Finnair Plus could be useful if you have points you are unlikely to use for a hotel stay. The rate is 10 Radisson Rewards points to 1 Avios, so 50,000 Radisson points would become 5,000 Finnair Plus Avios. From there, you can also move them 1:1 to British Airways Club if you would rather use them there.

You can transfer points from Finnair to Radisson starting at 1,000 Avios. Finnair has now confirmed the rate as 3 Avios to 5 Radisson Rewards points, which is poor value in most circumstances because Radisson redemptions are largely dynamically priced.

If you were waiting for the partnership to become properly operational, you can now link your accounts and make transfers through the Finnair Shop. If you’re thinking of switching over to the Finnair Plus loyalty programme, make sure you read our Finnair guide.

15% Off IHG Reward Nights at New and Refurbished Hotels

IHG new and refurbished hotels 15% off

IHG has an ongoing offer of 15% off participating ‘new’ or recently reopened hotels. The discount usually lasts for 6 months after the opening. The list has now been updated for September and covers discounted rates for stays until 27th February.

For 50,000 points per night, the 15% discount reduces the rate to 42,500 points, saving 7,500 points per night. Over a seven-night stay, you’d be saving 52,500 points. The list is always worth looking at if you have a stay in mind.

The discount applies to points-only bookings, not points + cash bookings.
