Short haul
London Heathrow – Cologne
BA reward seat availability is abundant between January 2025 and November 2025 – most days have up to 6 Economy seats and 6 Business Class seats to book with Avios.
London Heathrow – Dublin
There’s loads of reward seat availability between January and November 2025, with lots of dates showing up to 6 Economy seats and 6 Business Class seats.
London Gatwick – Malta
With the exclusion of the Easter holidays, there’s great reward seat availability between January and November 2025. Loads of days have up to 4 Economy seats and 4 Business Class seats to book with Avios. This is a popular summer spot, so if you’re considering Malta then, you might want to book quickly.
London Heathrow – Naples
This one is a popular route for Avios redemptions, but if you look right now you’ll find great availability between April and October 2025 with 4 Economy seats and 4 Business Class seats to snap up on lots of days.
London Heathrow – Prague
There’s a wealth of reward seat availability between January and November 2025 at the moment, with loads of dates showing up to 4 Economy seats and 4 Business Class seats.
London Gatwick – Verona
Between March and November 2025 you’ll see a fantastic stretch of Economy and Business Class reward seats to book. Loads of days have 4 seats to book in both cabins.
Long haul
London Heathrow – Barbados
There are spots of Business Class reward seats between August and November 2025 with some days having up to 4 seats to book with points. We always suggest that if you’re looking to book an Avios redemption on this route you need to book quickly.
London Heathrow – Delhi
Business Class availability is packed to the rafters between May and November 2025 right now, with most days having 4 seats to book with points. If you’re happy to fly Premium Economy look from April 2025 and you’ll see that loads of days have 6 seats.
London Heathrow – Grand Cayman
Between May and November 2025 you’ll see a lovely stretch of Business Class reward seats availability. Many days have 4 seats to book with Avios. Booking on this route will definitely heat up in the coming weeks, so get in while you can!
London Heathrow – Miami
There are patches of Business Class availability across the year, particularly in March, May, June, then throughout September to November 2025. Each of those patches has days with between 3 – 5 seats to book with points. If you’re looking for a First Class seat you’ll spot some in June and September.
London Heathrow – Shanghai
Check out dates between June and November 2025, where you’ll find loads of days with 4 Business Class seats available.

Hi, I am finding it very hard to book seats with avios to upgrade from premium to business. Based on the 355 day rule that dictates when flights are released by the time I can book the return flight the outbound ones are not available. How do overcome this problem?
It’s a common problem for many, I can assure you.
To give yourself the best shot, you have to call an international call centre just before midnight to secure them. I’ve never failed with this method.
