Here’s some of the best BA reward seat availability to the US right now, courtesy of Reward Flight Finder:
London – Atlanta
There’s excellent Premium Economy availability right through from November to August 2025, with most days having up to 6 seats. Business Class reward seats are plentiful during this time too, there are loads of dates with 4 seats. If you’re looking for a First Class redemption you’re in luck – there are quite a lot of days between October and April 2025 with 2 spots in the First Class cabin.
London – Boston
There’s great Premium Economy availability right from January 2025 to August next year, lots of days have up to 6 seats. Business Class availability is also strong between December and July 2025, with many days having 4- 6 seats. For a First Class redemption, look at January, February, July and August 2025, where you’ll see days with 3 seats to book.
London – Chicago
Between January 2025 and May you’ll find good Premium Economy availability, with most days having up to 6 seats. The Business Class cabin has lots of days with 4 seats available between January 2025 and June. For those seeking out a First Class redemption you’ll find the best availability between December 2024 and March 2025, where there are plenty of days with 2 seats to book, but after that, it gets a bit sporadic!
London – Houston
Between January 2025 and August you’ll find excellent Premium Economy availability, with most days having up to 6 seats. There’s a solid selection of Business Class seats between November 2024 and August 2025. First Class availability is best during February, April, July and August 2025, where you’ll find days with up to 3 seats to book.
London – Miami
One of the hardest destinations for booking reward seats. We recommend using RFF Alerts for this route. Premium Economy availability is decent between January and March 2025 and May and July 2025, with quite a lot of days having 4 seats. For a Business Class booking it’s best to look from June 2025 onwards, where you’ll spot days with up to 3 seats. First Class availability is minimal – there are currently only a few dates in 2025 with First Class availability, during the spring.
London – Los Angeles
Between January 2025 and August Premium Economy availability is really consistent, with many days having between 2-4 seats to book. Business Class is definitely patchier. If you’re looking for a First Class seat availability is very limited at the moment, there are some good little spots in January, March and July 2025 though, with up to 3 seats.
London – Orlando
Another destination you’ll need RFF Alerts for. Premium Economy availability is pretty good from March 2025, with a good selection of dates having 4 seats, but as you can expect, it starts teetering in July and August. Business Class fares better, with a pretty decent selection of dates having 4 seats available from March 2025 to August.
London – San Francisco
Yep, you guessed it, RFF Alerts are a good option for this route too! Premium Economy availability is really strong, right through from November 2024 to August 2025, with lots of days having 4 seats. If you’re looking at Business Class, stick to March, May and August 2025, where you’ll get days with up to 4 seats to book. For First Class redemptions, you’re going to be limited to winter at the moment. There’s a good amount of days with 4 seats in December 2024, to March 2025, but after that, there are very few.

This feels like a bit of an advert for RFF, which I have to say, personally I have found to be all but useless. As a founder member, 100% of the alerts I’ve had have been falsely triggered, or totally incorrect, even when jumping straight on it. The interface is infuriating and keeps turning back on the economy/prem toggles when searching or crashes and you have a to start again. So many times my heart has jumped at the possibility of F seats coming available from an alert to find it all nonsense.
Despite having founder member pricing for gold, which I can’t get back, I cancelled it in the end, out of sheer frustration and switched to SeatSpy which seemed (so far), way more accurate 🤷🏻♂️
