Flying Blue January Promo Rewards are Live

The Flying Blue January promo rewards are now live and well worth a look. Book by 31st January 2026 for travel up to 30th June 2026, with up to 25% off the miles required for select Air France and KLM reward flights.

Top Business fares include:

  • Paris to Geneva – 18,750 miles
  • Paris to Copenhagen –  18,750 miles
  • Amsterdam to Porto – 18,750 miles
  • Cartagena – 63,750 miles

There are also the following ‘Extra Exclusive Fares’ in Business.

Options labelled ‘extra exclusive’ are only available if you pay for the Flying Blue ‘Extra’ subscription. The subscription itself starts at €379 per year (£331). Whether that’s worth it depends on how quickly you’ll redeem.

  • Paris to Budapest – 18,750 miles
  • Amsterdam to Turin – 18,750 miles
  • Orlando – 45,000 miles
  • Montreal – 45,000 miles
  • Beijing – 63,750 miles
  • St Martin – 63,750 miles
  • Bogota – 63,750 miles

Premium deals include:

  • Chicago – 30,000 miles
  • Mexico City – 30,000 miles

Premium ‘Extra’ fares:

  • Dubai – 30,000 Miles
  • Seattle – 30,000 miles
  • Singapore – 37,500 miles

If you need to add to your balance to afford a redemption, Amex Membership Rewards transfers to Flying Blue at 1:1. You can also move Marriott Bonvoy points across (3:1, with a 5,000-mile bonus for every 60,000 points transferred).

Keep in mind that you won’t earn XP for Reward Flights. If no deals suit you this month, make sure you check next month. Unsure how Flying Blue works? Make sure you read our Flying Blue guide.

Act Fast: 20% Off Marriott Escapes Sale

Marriott Bonvoy has launched another short-lived Escapes sale, with 20% off prepaid, non-refundable weekend rates for members (or 15% if you are not logged in) until 4th January.

The offer applies across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa, using promo code QRI. You must book at least five days in advance of your stay, but there is still plenty of value.

Unfortunately, there are some brand exclusions, including St. Regis, The Ritz-Carlton, EDITION, Bulgari, Design Hotels, and Homes & Villas. That said, plenty of luxury brands still participate, and 20% off can add up quickly on higher nightly rates.

For example, a Superior Queen Room at the Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic drops from CHF 288 (£270) to CHF 233 (£218.50) on set dates with the promo code – perfect for a last-minute escape. Not all dates are available, so it’s best to be flexible. Many popular hotels are nearly booked out at this point!

As with most Marriott Escapes sales, this is positioned as a weekend offer. What counts as a weekend varies by country (usually Thursday-Sunday), while some resorts have no fixed day requirements at all.

If you have a January trip on the horizon, this is well worth checking, but make sure you also compare against the other rates.

You can view participating properties and book through the Marriott Bonvoy Escapes page.

IHG Double Points Offer

You can now earn double IHG points until 31st March 2026. As with many IHG points offers, the bonus will only apply to your second stay. After your second stay, there is no limit to how many points you can earn. You’ll also need to sign up for the offer. Remember, you’ll also earn the usual bonuses, which go up to 100% for Diamond.

If you have a high-value stay coming up, it’s worth booking a cheap stay beforehand (spend must be $30+) so you can earn double points on the high-value stay. UK stays start at around £43. Bonus points earned through this Promotion are not Elite Status qualifying.

For example, if you assume $300 (£223) of the bill is qualifying spend (excluding taxes and fees), you’ll earn 10 points per $1 spent, giving 3,000 base points. This promo adds another 3,000 points, taking your total to 6,000 before any elite status bonuses. This doesn’t include status benefits (e.g., 1,800 for Platinum Elite/1,200 for Gold Elite, etc).

If you have more than one IHG stay planned, or even none yet but may book before the end of March, make sure you register. Extra points can really add up, especially on longer or higher-value stays.
