20% off BA flights + £200 off BA holidays to Europe
BA’s Gatwick subsidiary airline, Euroflyer, has launched a limited time offer with 20 per cent off flights to nearly 30 destinations from London Gatwick Airport. Offers include:
- Flights from London Gatwick to Malaga from £82 return
- Flights from London Gatwick to Fuerteventura from £108 return
The flights have to be return flights in either Economy Basic or Economy Plus.
In addition, you can also save up to £200 on European holidays with British Airways Holidays on a range of Winter Sun destinations for travel between 4th November 2025 and 20th March 2026.
The savings are staggered according to the cost and type of holiday that you book:

£200 discount with a min spend of £5,000 on flight + hotel bookings

£100 discount with a min spend of £2,500 on flight + hotel or flight + car bookings

£50 discount with a min spend of £1,250 on flight + hotel or flight + car bookings

The offer runs until Monday, 20th October, and is valid across a range of destinations:

Qatar Airways update
I attended an event with the Qatar Airways team last night, and although there were no new announcements, we did get a chance to sample the actual caviar being served on board and see the new onboard wi-fi, Starlink, in action. We video-chatted with both cabin crew and even the captain on the QR106 from Heathrow to Doha via Starlink, and the quality was amazing. I’d say it was probably better quality than I would get from my home Wi-Fi. I was surprised that they do allow phone and video conversations for passengers, so it will be interesting to see how that pans out in practice. The cabin crew member said that it has not caused any issues so far. The airline asks passengers to use headphones and keep their voices low, but as we all know, people often seem completely oblivious to the disturbance they cause others.

Qatar made aviation history in October 2024 as the first global airline to operate a Boeing 777 Starlink-equipped flight. Many other airlines have since announced that they will be using Starlink Hawaiian Airlines, United Airlines, Air France, WestJet, airBaltic, and SAS. As yet I have not seen anything from BA to indicate that they will.
Qatar has equipped over 40 Boeing 777 aircraft and now plans to complete the entire Boeing 777 fleet within a year of launch. Now, they have started to introduce Starlink across the A350fleet from the summer.
Starlink is free in all cabins on Qatar and offers:
- Low-latency, one-click access on board
- Ultra-fast Wi-Fi speeds of up to 500 megabits per second, for video streaming, gaming, web-browsing, and more
- Gate to gate access at most airports
Qatar Airways serves caviar currently in business class outbound from Doha to Boston, Dallas, Hong Kong, Houston, London, Los Angeles, Melbourne, New York, Paris, Sao Paulo, Singapore, Sydney, and Washington. They hope to gradually expand the list of destinations in time. We had the caviar flown in from Doha to try, and it was very enjoyable (I’m no caviar expert, but it tasted good to me).
Fairmont up to 20% off
Fairmont has a new offer for 10% for stays of two nights or more, and up to 20% off when you stay five nights or longer. Book between 15 October 2025 and 30 March 2026, for stays from 15 October 2025 to 31 May 2026. You must book at least 3 days in advance.
There are many variations in hotel cancellation policies, with some allowing free cancellation, but not all, so make sure you check the T&C. The minimum length of stay for the offer also varies, so if you can’t see the discount for your stay, check what the minimum stay is in the T&C. All the Fairmont hotels seem to be included, with the Fairmont Windsor being recently reviewed here.
