40% Avios bonus
There is also a new 40% buy Avios bonus available for BA The Club members between 9 and 16 July 2026. The bonus applies from a minimum purchase of 2000 Avios, and the bonus Avios awarded as part of the promotion will not count towards the annual purchase limit of 200,000 Avios.
40% is not a great deal, as we have often seen bonuses of 45-50%. The only advantage is that you get the bonus on smaller amounts which is not always the case. Boosting Avios works out cheaper than buying, but you need to have earned Avios on the last 30 days to boost them.

50% off Eurostar Plus and Premier
While we see a lot of Eurostar offers, it is rare to see one which covers Eurostar Plus and Premier tickets. In effect, it’s a companion offer: you need to book for two or more people to get 50% off, or, put another way, buy one, get one free. The offer is for travel between 28 July and 23 September and only applies to adult fares.
Eurostar Plus features separate coaches that come with extra legroom and large reclining seats. You also get food with a choice of two dishes and a range of hot and cold drinks served at your seat.
Eurostar Premium offers the same seats as the Plus cabin but features fine wines and dining in the Premium carriage. You also get priority access to check-in/security and lounge access.

2000 Avios bonus on hotel stays
Avios Hotels are owned by Expedia and allow customers to earn substantial amounts of Avios on hotel stays. I use them myself when I want to book an independent hotel or a chain where I don’t collect points. The downside is that prices are usually a little higher than when you book through the hotel or Expedia. However, the extra cost is much lower than buying or boosting Avios, so you may decide, as I have, that it is simply a way of buying Avios extremely cheaply. The reason I don’t use them for chain hotels such as Marriott is that I wouldn’t get my status perks or earn Marriott points.
The new promotion offers a 2000 Avios bonus per qualifying stay, 10 Avios per £1. Only cash or Pay with part Avios & part Cash will earn Avios. The offer runs for bookings until 21 July 2026.
Your stay must be completed by 31 December 2026, and you must spend a minimum of £150 not including taxes and fees.
