Qatar new sale with 20% off and 10,000 Avios bonus
Qatar Airways has launched its summer-end sale, with discounts of up to 20% on selected routes and a 10,000 bonus Avios points for Business and First Class bookings. The sale is on until 9 September, and you can travel until 30 June 2025. Note that this will likely be business lite which does not come with lounge access unless you have status and then only for the special status lounges, not the main Qatar lounges.

Privilege Club members can also get an Avios bonus. As well as the 20% discount, First and Business Class trips booked for departure between 4 September 2024 and 31 March 2025 will accrue a 10,000 bonus Avios. Members must log in to their Privilege Club accounts and use the promo code 10KAVIOS when booking.
The disadvantage with this offer is that if you need BA tier points to get or maintain status, you would have to credit your booking to Privilege Club, so you would not get any BA Tier points.

Double dip with new American Express Qatar money off
You can double dip with a new offer that has appeared on my BA Platinum card today. The offer gives you a generous £300 off flights with Qatar when you spend £2000 by 1 October 2024. The catch is that it is only valid for flights departing the UK. However, the good news is that it can be in multiple transactions.
Etihad sale
Etihad has a slightly less exciting sale with 10% off until 6 September. You can travel between 8 September and 12 December 2024. These are the best deals at the moment with Etihad, they are not all sale fares.
