Hilton sale launches – up to 20% off
Hilton has launched a sale with up to 20% off on weekend stays across Europe, Middle East and Africa. The full discount applies only to Hilton Honors members. Book by January 30th for stays up to April 8th 2024.
A “weekend” is defined as Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday nights and in the Middle East (excluding the UAE, Turkey, Lebanon, Morocco, Africa) as Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday nights. Bookings between December 5th 2023 and January 7th 2024 must be booked a minimum of 1 day before arrival. For bookings between January 8th 2024 – January 30th 2024, you must book a minimum of 3 days before arrival.
For some participating Resorts and Middle East and Africa hotels, offers will be available for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast stays booked between December 5th 2023 and January 30th 2024. Stays must be completed between May 1st and August 31st, 2024.
As usual, there is a catch as full prepayment is required at the time of booking. The rates are not refundable, and you can’t make any changes either.
Hilton 100% Buy bonus
Hilton has also launched a new buy bonus for Honors points. I never advise just buying on speculation but it is certainly worth comparing the cost of buying versus paying cash. This only really makes sense at expensive hotels where rooms are available at the basic points rate, rather than the more expensive premium ones. However, it is always worth doing the maths as there can be substantial savings to be made.
You need to buy a minimum of 5000 points to get the 100% bonus and buy before 31 December 2023. You can purchase a maximum of 240,000 points per calendar year during this promotion period. All purchases are non-refundable.

Sofitel St James offer
If you have plans to be in London, Sofitel London St James is running a 4 for 3 promotion until the 14th of April 2024.
