BA Triple Avios Hilton deal
Hilton have their usual bonus points promotion running until 31 December 2017 which gives you double points. You can read more details of that promotion here. In addition, they have launched another excellent Avios promotion for Triple Avios on stays. These are normally available in addition to any bonus points promotion.
In order to get the Avios you must change your account to Points & Miles under MYWAY EARNING STYLE PREFERENCES in the Preferences option in your account. Then add your BA Executive Club details. If you do this you will normally earn 10 points and 1 BA Avios per US$1 spent and with the promotion it will rise to 3 Avios per $1. (If you just chose Points & Points you would normally get 10 points per $1 spent plus an extra bonus of 5 Points per $1.)
The offer is available for new bookings made between 15 October 2017 and 30 January 2018 for stays from 15 October 2017 until 30 January 2018. Whether they will strictly enforce the new bookings rule remains to be seen, as this is unusual for Hilton promotions. I have some Hilton stays next week so I will report back if it works, but you may as well sign up for it anyway unless you normally collect points only. Anecdotal evidence so far is that Hilton has been applying the bonus to all bookings, not just new ones.

Iberia triple Avios Hilton deal
There is also an Iberia Hilton promotion which is slightly better. If you collect Avios but are not yet an Iberia Plus member, this is a good opportunity to join. I always recommend joining BA Executive Club, Avios.com and Iberia as each has different offers and you can move Avios instantly between accounts using combine my Avios. Iberia Plus often has promotions where you need to have earned some Avios before to take part so this is a good opportunity to do that without having to credit a whole flight if you want BA status.

The catch is that you can only earn a maximum of 10,000 Avios per stay with Iberia Plus so chose your program wisely depending on how much you are likely to spend as there is no cap with the BA offer.
