If you have been following Turning Left for Less on social media, you will have seen that Roving Reporter and I have just spent a fabulous weekend in Venice courtesy of British Airways and Leading Hotels of the World.

Venice for me is one of the must-see destinations that everyone should aim to visit once in their lifetime. Venice is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and truly unique. Round every corner is another beautiful vista that looks like it has come straight off a postcard. I will be writing a few articles about my trip this week, so stay tuned to find out more about our weekend.

The grand prize

British Airways have kindly donated 2 Euro Traveller tickets to our mystery destination, Venice, from London Gatwick. Venice is just one of the many exciting destinations you can visit from Gatwick with BA this winter. From holidays with a bit of winter sun relaxation such as the Canary Islands to a foodie’s city break to the birthplace of pizza, Naples, BA has a fantastic range of destinations. British Airways have also been adding new destinations from Gatwick such as Fort Lauderdale this year plus Toronto and Las Vegas for 2018.

With their move into the South Terminal and the new BA First and Business lounges at Gatwick, now may be the time for booking that winter break from Gatwick with British Airways. Runner-up prizes

There are also 5 runners-up prizes of a pair of tickets for the British Airways i360. For those not familiar with the British Airways i360, it’s an observation tower which opened in August 2016 in Brighton & Hove. It’s the tallest observation tower in the world at 162m. You will glide slowly up to 138m in a fully enclosed glass observation pod for 360-degree views across Brighton & Hove, the South Downs and the south coast. The British Airways i360 pod is ten times the size of a London Eye capsule and carries up to 200 passengers. Whilst in the pod you can walk around freely and enjoy a drink at the Nyetimber Sky Bar, which serves their award-winning English sparkling wine and other drinks from the region.
