Get free Priority Pass lounge prebook with American Express
Over the last few years, it has become increasingly difficult to get into many lounges using your Priority Pass. You can prebook for quite a number of lounges, but this incurs a fee. In my opinion, this devalues the offering of Priority Pass. However, American Express has now provided UK-issued consumer Platinum Cardmembers with four complimentary vouchers to prebook Priority Pass lounges. This is only for the next six months, but hopefully, this could become an annual feature. It only costs around £6 to prebook, so it is not saving a lot of money but it does give some compensation at least for struggling to get into lounges if you are organised.
These pre-book vouchers, or entitlements, are available for each enrolled Main and Supplementary Cardmember through the Priority Pass app or online account. These can be used to pre-book an entry time slot at any of the eligible United Kingdom Priority Pass lounges listed below, and can be used to pre-book for both the Cardmember and any guests travelling with them. Each person being pre-booked uses one credit. With supplementary cardholders being given their own entitlement that gives you a total of eight prebook vouchers between you.
These complimentary pre-book vouchers must be booked, with travel completed, by 31 December 2024. If you need to cancel a booking where you used any pre-book entitlements to pay, you can get your voucher back again providing it is at least 48 hours before the arrival time specified in your booking confirmation.

Hilton adds nearly 400 Small Luxury Hotels
Hilton announced in February that it would partner with SLH after Hyatt ended its partnership with the luxury hotel group. At first they only had a tiny number available for redemptions and collecting points. Now, Hilton has dramatically expanded its portfolio of luxury hotel experiences with the addition of nearly 400 boutique properties from the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) collection. Since the announcement in February, 390 SLH properties have opted to join into the partnership with more hotels expected to be added as the SLH and Hilton relationship grows.
Starting today, hundreds of these properties will be available on all Hilton direct booking channels, including Hilton.com and the Hilton Honors app.
Through the exclusive partnership, members of Hilton Honors, will be able to earn and redeem Points for SLH stays. Additionally, they will enjoy extra benefits at SLH’s city, beach and resort hotels. The benefits include earning and redeeming Points, free WiFi and a guaranteed member discount. Gold and Diamond members also get space-available room upgrades and continental breakfast for up to two guests.
