Decent Hawaii business class fare
Sadly, the days of the £1000 Hawaii fares in business class are gone forever, but there is a current deal from Dublin which is around £1000 cheaper than if you flew from the UK on similar flights. While £2342 sounds quite a bit, when you consider that it is around 17 hours of flying time, it is not a bad deal at all. With returns to LA at around £ 2,000, I think this is a good-value fare.
Hawaii may be expensive, but it is one of my favourite places in the world. Most people tend to think of Waikiki Beach in Honolulu when they think of Hawaii, but there is far more to discover than that. From the history of Pearl Harbour to whale spotting, spinner dolphins and an active volcano, Hawaii has huge amounts to offer.
Prices start from £2342 and you can either fly back to Heathrow (economy on Aer Lingus) or fly straight from Dublin with American Airlines. If you are not bothered about the extra tier points/Avios, flying from Dublin means you clear US immigration and customs before you board.
The fare is available for Monday to Thursday departures from :

- 27 Mar – 5Apr
- 1 Jul – 4 Jul
- 26Aug – 31Aug for each transatlantic sector.
To Europe:
- 23 Nov – 1 Dec

- 30Aug – 3 Sep for each transatlantic sector.
The cheapest fares are on AA, but you can fly BA for around £100. Fares must be booked through American Airlines.
