AMEX Offer: Save £150 with KLM, Air France and More

KLM

A new targeted AMEX offer has appeared, giving £150 cashback when you spend £1,500 with KLM before 17th June. Flights can be booked for any date but must depart from a UK airport.

You can also book Air France flights via the KLM website, as well as Virgin Atlantic flights that carry AF or KL flight numbers.

The offer has been spotted on a range of AMEX cards, though of course, not on the BA cards.

As always, you must save the offer to your card before booking any flights, and you must book direct with the airline named in your offer.

If you already have an Air France, KLM or Virgin trip planned, have a look at what’s available and see if you can get 10% back on your £1,500 spend. There are some good Business deals on the KLM site at the moment, with some of the cheapest return Business fares, including:

  • LHR – Zanzibar – £2,215
  • LHR – Hong Kong – £2,919
  • LHR – Rio de Janeiro – £2,241
  • LCY – Bogotá – £2,382
  • LHR – Amsterdam – £329

Singapore Airlines to Increase Gatwick and Manchester Flights

Singapore Airlines is increasing its UK schedule once again for the winter season, adding extra flights to Gatwick and Manchester to meet demand.

Flights to Manchester will run daily, up from five times weekly from 13th July 2026 to 27th March 2027:

  • SQ302 – Singapore to Manchester – 02:10 – 08:35
  • SQ301 – Manchester to Singapore – 10:05 – 07:15 (+1)

Gatwick’s second flight will also increase to daily, up from three times weekly, from 25th October 2026 to 27th March 2027:

  • SQ314 – Singapore to Gatwick – 02:30 – 09:00
  • SQ313 – Gatwick to Singapore – 13:00 – 10:00 (+1)

These flights will complement the four daily Heathrow flights, giving six London departures to choose from and improving connection options in Singapore.

Additional services will be operated by an Airbus A350-900LH, which has Economy, Premium Economy and Business, so the only option for First remains Heathrow.

Flying Business from Gatwick or with KrisFlyer Elite Gold (Star Alliance Gold), you’ll be able to access the No 1 Lounge at North Terminal. From Manchester, the partner lounge is the 1903 lounge for Business Class passengers and PPS status holders and the Escape Lounge for Star Alliance Gold or equivalent status holders.

There have also been some changes announced to other European services, including:

  • 10 weekly flights to Munich (up from 7)
  • A new five-times-weekly Madrid service via Barcelona from 26th October 2026, meaning the end of the Singapore – Milan – Barcelona routing from 27th October 2026. Direct Milan services will remain and run daily.

New IHG ‘Multiply Your Points’ Offer

Kimpton Barcelona

IHG has launched a new ‘Multiply Your Points’ offer, allowing selected members to boost recently earned eligible points by purchasing more points at a discounted rate.

Eligible points appear to include points earned from stays and selected partner activity.

You must have been targeted with this offer. You will either see it in your account, or you’ll have received an email invitation. Forwarding it to someone else won’t work.

Points can be multiplied by up to 12x with the chance to save up to 35% on the usual points purchase rates. That’s great value and gets close to some of the best IHG ‘Buy Points’ offers we see.

Pricing works out as follows:

Boost Discount Cost per point
1x boost 20% off 0.62¢ – (0.45p)
4x boost 25% off 0.58¢ – (0.43p)
6x boost 30% off 0.55¢ – (0.40p)
12x boost 35% off 0.51¢ – (0.37p)

You can only boost once, so choose wisely! For example, if you have 15,000 boostable points and choose the 12x option, you could purchase 180,000 points. At the 12x rate of 0.51¢ per point, this would cost $918 (£666) before any foreign exchange fees or other charges.

Usually, you can purchase up to 200,000 IHG points per calendar year, but during this offer, there’s a separate limit of 200,000 bonus points.

Before deciding to boost, it’s always best with IHG to have a redemption in mind, where you’ve found the points rate is better than the cash rate. You may also need an existing points balance or buy additional points separately if the Multiply Your Points offer doesn’t get you all the way to the redemption you’ve found.

Points purchases are also non-refundable. Points may take up to 5 days to be credited to your account.
