Have a BA AMEX? Here’s Your Chance to Win 1 Million Avios
If you’re a British Airways American Express cardholder, you can enter for the chance to win 1 million Avios in celebration of 25 years of the BA AMEX cards. There are also 25 prizes of 100,000 Avios available.
1 million Avios is enough for some very interesting Business and First Class redemptions, and if you can find availability, you could pick from any route and tick off quite a long bucket list!
It’s not just BA you could spend them with, either. Avios can be moved between British Airways Club, AerClub, Iberia Club, Qatar Airways Privilege Club, Finnair Plus, Vueling Club and Loganair Loyalty, giving you plenty of options, including Aer Lingus transatlantic Business Class, Qatar Qsuite redemptions and Loganair domestic hops.
To enter, you need to fill out a quick form with some basic details and the last 5 digits of your BA AMEX card. Make sure you double-check this before submitting!
The draw is open to UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man residents aged 18 or over who are main cardholders of either the British Airways American Express Credit Card or the British Airways American Express Premium Plus Card. Supplementary cardholders are not eligible, and your card must not be in arrears at the time of the draw.
Winners will be sent an email on 15th July.
Leaders Club Up to 100% Buy Points Bonus.

Leaders Club, the loyalty programme of Leading Hotels of the World, has re-launched its Buy Points bonus, giving up to a 100% bonus on purchased points before 12th June.
The bonus depends on the number of points you purchase, including:
- 2,000 – 11,000 – 50% bonus
- 12,000 – 29,000 – 75% bonus
- 30,000 – 75,000 – 100% bonus
Points can be purchased in increments of 1,000, and the 100% bonus amounts to a 25% discount on the usual Buy Points rate.
Leading Hotels of the World award pricing is dynamic, so the best thing to do is to find your preferred redemption before you purchase points, and then confirm that paying with points is cheaper than booking with cash. There are many options when purchasing points at this rate.
For example, purchasing 30,000 points for $3,600 (£2,683) would give you 60,000 points after the bonus. Two nights at The Ritz London would cost just under that in points, compared to a cash rate of £3,410. That’s a saving of over £720!
You should also keep in mind that you won’t earn points on award stays. Pricing can also go up or down, and points can take up to 10 days to be credited to your account once purchased. Purchases are made via points.com, so they won’t count as hotel spend on your statement.
20% Bonus When You Purchase World of Hyatt Points

If you’re a World of Hyatt member, you can buy points with a 20% bonus until 27th July 2026.
You can purchase up to 55,000, which would get you 66,000 points with the bonus for $1,430 (£1,065) at a rate of 1.61p per point. The minimum number of points you need to purchase for the bonus is targeted and ranges from 3,000 to 7,000.
World of Hyatt is making award chart changes from 20th May, moving from three redemption levels to five within each category. Though this isn’t a move toward dynamic pricing, as we’ve seen with many hotel loyalty programmes, there are new Upper and Top levels, so some redemptions will cost more.
The best option is to find and book a redemption before 20th May, wait and see if you can get outsized value from the new pricing after that, rather than buying points with no specific redemption in mind. The best value usually comes from redeeming points at high-cost properties.
There are plenty of opportunities to book with Hyatt points. If a standard room is available at that property, you can book with points.
You must have been a World of Hyatt member for at least 60 days. Points are sold in increments of 1,000, with a usual annual purchase limit of 55,000 points before any promotional bonus. If you have already bought points this calendar year, you won’t be able to purchase the full amount during this sale.
This may not be the best discount we’ve seen from Hyatt, but a bonus is good, especially with the changes happening in the next few days.
